My father had gangrene in his foot for over 1 year and he tried to use "spiritual healing" provided by aborigines (whom he knew as friends). He made constant remarks about how he was getting better, but he ended up having both legs amputed knee height and paralyzed waist down. The alternative could have been losing a few toes. NEVER use ANY form of "traditional" healing. Not worth the risk.

i would never suggest to anyone to avoid treatment from a qualified doctor if there is treatment . im studying medicine at uni so im pretty sure im not against scientific forms of healthcare. but there are alot of things that have a deficit in treatment and i think its worthwhile to look into other healing practices if there is persistant pain. positive psycology can have a huge effect on some peoples ailments whether the products do anything scientific or not. thats all im sayin

Theres no proof that medicine eradicated them: for example when the smallpox vaccine was introduced, cases of smallpox went up, and in england when they said you'll go to jail if you don't have it, it went up even higher, the exact same thing happened with diphtheria. People didn't die of those diseases until they moved in to the industrial areas and due to unsanitary conditions these illnesses started occurring.
