  • hopefully they set up a chain gang program like sheriff joe arpaio in arizona, so they can put these stoner scumbags to work as slave labor beautifying the city rather than paying unionized overpaid organized labor douche bags 100k a year to stand around

  • its has gotten worse now the supreme court give them permission to kick your door down if they smell it in your own home where is the freedom all of this was for nothing america no longer the land of the free or the brave because ppl are afraid to protest about anything AMSTERDAM HERE I COME .

  • @mano i live in nyc and it doesnt work like tht ppl dont smoke on corners. Cops stop you and dig in your pockets illegally. But before you watched this you already made up your mind

  • <----not a racist but am from california spent alot of time in new york and elsewhere so is this about stop arresting blacks and latinos or should they have the smarts to not ignore the law and smoke in the streets and corners where there is high police activity because of a high rate of crimes in the area?.....look guys im a white doctor approved user from california just smoke in your own home away from other people and have some respect for the law

  • @manofmusicx a big problem with minority and poor residents of a community smoking in their own home is because their lack of socio-economic status doesn't afford them the same access to private areas that those of higher socio-economic status do. Either from more compact living conditions, family pressures that conflict with social influences, or just the lack of access to resources that allow them the comfortable living situation in which one can smoke freely. Just food for thought Doc.

  • Fuck Ny Move to California.

  • Ignorance lives, and controls our lives. This terrible news won't change a thing.

  • MOTHER FUCKERS!!! LEGALIZE IT!!!!!!

    HIJOS DE PUTA LEGALIZENLA!!!

    AND ILLEGALIZE ALCOHOL AND SNUFF!!!

  • When will the world grow up.

  • Prison-industrial complex and the War on Drugs are interchangeable.

  • What a waste of taxpayer money. This shit needs to stop.

  • ok who gives a fuck what ethnicity, people shouldnt be arrested for smoking weed.

  • this bitch talking is so dumb

  • To all weed smokers, stop getting arrested for weed! I live in a state that locks you up for a seed! In almost every case I've heard of someone being arrested for weed, it was always a simple traffic stop that caused it. You get pulled over for no seat belt or a brake light was out and then the cop smells weed in the car. Next thing you know your in handcuffs and on your way to jail for a bag of weed, roach in the ashtray or a seed on the floor. STOP SMOKING WEED IN YOU CARS! USE AIR FRESHENERS

  • Legalize pot so i can move to new york ahaha

  • Marijuana prohibition is costly wasteful and isn't working. Alcohol today is recognized as a harmless form of intoxication when used responsibly, even with possible health benefits in moderation. I could demonize it by saying "Alcohol kills brain cells and liver cells. getting drunk can kill you." There have been ZERO cases of death as a result from marijuana overdose. The most likely harm to result from responsible Marijuana intoxication is the disproportionate punishment

  • The current "war" on marijuana is inefficient impractical and ineffective. The loss is twofold. When a "non violent criminal" who chooses to be intoxicated by marijuana is put in jail, not only do we lose an otherwise working productive member of society, but other tax payers must pay for him to sit in jail.Marijuana is scientifically rated less addictive and harmful than alcohol and cigarettes. The punishment is disproportionate, can spend years earning a degree, never find another job

  • black and spanish ppl sell to the whites well the whites sell them hopes and dreams (meaning jobs) .... marijuana is to high of profit to the state for income thats why in most states they will not legalize it just de-crimalize .....i will like it to be decrilmalized

  • thats what helped make it illegal ..racism ...well thats jus one component

  • look more black & hispanic people sell drugs on the streets than whites who do it behind closed doors. more blacks and hispanic people kill each other over drug money. so that is wy they are targeted.

also im 1/2 white and it sais white on my birth cert. but im also native cherokee. I was a crack head for 3 years. I have lived the streets. I think weed should be legal. we should not lock people up just for useing drugs. we should get them help. other then prison or jail. that is not help.

  • Marijuana should be legalized. That being said, more minorities are arrested because they sell/use drugs in a more open manner than whites. They are more likely to "hustle" on street corners, while whites more often smoke in their parent's basements or some secluded backyard or suburban park, dorm, etc.

  • @Pendragon1717 yeah, but that still doesn't mean its right to focus on certain ethnic groups. It's clearly against the right of equality under the law.

  • i love you two women stay strong keep fighting for us people

  • Bloomberg said once he smoked pot and he liked it. Everybody finds that amusing *ohh a prominent politician does it too!* but the asshole keeps arresting pot-heads, and filing jails with these people. Bloomberg is a total douche-bag.

  • arresting someone over cannabis use is a serious violation of human rights, regardless of race.

  • CANCER CURE = RICK SIMPSON'S HEMP OIL

Meanwhile the U.S. tax payer has been paying for Dr. Mechoulam's Cannabis research in Israel since 1964 - present.

At the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs there is a course available called "Endocannabinoids and Medical Marijuana Biology 408".

  • why in hell is marijuana illegal? it's not half as bad as TOBACCO.. which kills 2,000 people EVERY DAY!! my uncle died last year at an early age from cancer, he didn't smoke marijuana, HE SMOKED CIGARETTES. TOBACCO KILLS. so why is marijuana illegal? we need to make it legal like alcohol and tobacco, and regulate like those industries.. 18 years old to buy them..

  • Typical crap when it comes to pot. It's just Nixon's ghost laughing. He was a bigot and an asshole. Now it's all tied to control, conquer, and prison complexes. His plan worked quite well. His grave should be moved out of the country.

  • It's a shame that there is no law that prohibits white prostitutes and white crack addicts from making love and then inbreeding the off springs over and over again until one of these sick cunts ends spiting out into life another sick life form that ends up either working for the DEA or making comments on you tube under the name: " pooplin100 "

(now I see why Aliens don't communicate with Earth)

  • I don't understand, those advocating the legalization of marijuana has to be thousands to one in favor of decriminalization. How does this tiny minority continue to hold such sway over our laws? There are legislators in three Southern states that are advocating death for a third marijuana arrest! When will we seize control of our nation and personal freedoms?

  • Maybe you should ask you're self why your own Senate in all these years still can't get your Federal Government to give out any truth on what your federal government is worth and what they've been hiding all these years. Your senate is greater in number but your fed gov says kiss my ass!

It's the poeple with the money that makes the rules, get rid of the Bankers and you get rid of the Corruption. even here in Canada..

  • @IFlick

A majority of people are opposed to decriminalization, unfortunately :(

Middle America exists, no matter how much we try not to think about them.

  • You're an idiot..

We have been trying to change the Law for 50 years but as you can see when they make it Illegal and people are making more money doing this then digging Gold from your very own Gold Mine, DON"T YOU THINK their might be a problem, Fu-ckin Idiots!

  • someone should shoot that bitch in the fucking head!!!

  • just got arrested today for a bowl and under 20. court wednesday. im probably going to jail

  • If it's your first offense your not going to end up in jail. how much did you have?

  • thats what new yorkers get for voting stupid...er i mean republican

  • YOU RIGHT ON THAT

  • I think you guys are missing the point, although your cause is just. I'm an alien, green, 8 legs and bad breath. If I smoke outdoors, I expect any cop to arrest me. The reason, based upon their training, experience and prior arrests, they recognize the odor, hence, they have articulable facts that a crime has been committed, and I am the one who did it. Now they can search me to see if I have a gun or other contraband. Get it? Don't smoke in public! Even if you are a green martian like Me.

  • A lot of it probably has to do with dealing and smoking style. Blacks and other minorites are more likely to deal/smoke on the streets, while whites are more likely to deal/smoke it in their parent's basement, friend's houses, etc. That's only speaking from my direct observations so I can't really generalize across the country...but there's gotta be something to that.

  • Battery Park City, Gramercy Park, Upper Westside,

    Upper Eastside, Tribeca, Soho, Noho,

are these areas the targets of marijuana arrest?

  • NYCLU NEVER assists accused pot users or dealers unless there is a first amendment issue. The ever-widening gap between cops and community is exactly what is desired. A community afraid is a community under control. White people are already under control, only blacks and latinos have so little to lose that they could cause trouble. The whole point is to lock up people with divergent thoughts. Profiling IS law enforcement. What is needed is a legal fight over every bust!

  • FUCK THE POLICE

  • Fuck the police

  • Marijuana is Illegal solely based on Prejudice. and profit for many orginisations.

  • Rofl, I didn't even spell Christ right.

  • Repeal all Marijuana Laws.

    Suger kills, Marijuana doesent.

All laws concrning Marijuana are based on Fraud and lies. Enforcment with incarceration is a crime under color of law.

Marijuana laws are overbroad and sweep away our right to be free from incarceration.
