  • They have a tiny color guard. o.o

  • this is what im playing this year:D

  • small band...but a good sound

  • I'm loving the contra tubas. They sound awesome :D

  • Btw, you have a really nice drumline!

  • This is the show my band is doing this year! I'm so excited because I play quads and the music is ACTUALLY challenging this year, unlike last year's! haha

  • were doing In the Stone and After the love is gone for our show next year, but our September is mixed with Rock That! its gonna be a cool show, good job guys.

  • We're playing a dumbed down version of September for part of our half time show, so it doesn't sound as nice as this one. It's a shame, too. It's one of my favorite songs. D;

  • my school owns the rights to this song

  • Kapolei is so good!

  • wew.. it could have been better if they were really marching..

  • @pauldragonfang by really marching if you mean in a parade this was a marching band festival so they all performed like this

  • nice! gud job guys

  • coolz im playing this song right now in our marching band, good good u guys :D

  • omg this is a really good medley of one of the greatest bands :earth wind and fire ,well done kapolei marching band congrats!

  • @J3R1N427i , durfee high school?

  • This is really good but it would be cool to see a show style band in Hawaii...

  • i was in dis lol

  • Is this a high school? Or college?

  • Really good. I've wathced many performances of 'In the Stone' on youtube, but this one sounded really nice, because they didn't try rip off the sound by playing as loud as they can.

How is it in the U.S. Like..every highschool and college has a marching band..?

  • Yeah, pretty much.

  • @vanagsa Cause we have American football teams so they need someone to play at half time, you're required to be in marching band if you take band with a marching instrument, and my band is playing this and we have the ridiculous squiggles to make with added dancing... we actually put down our instrument and dance lol.

  • @SirenAlpha they did that this past marching season for michel jacksons this is it

  • My last high school show T__T

  • Ok as an alumus of the UVa Cavalier marching band, and in assisnt band director of my old high school marching band. I have 2 say that for high schoolers 2 pull an earth, wind, and fire show and i know the group of students i work with are not at the level to play this style. The only way a band could realy pull that off is if your are in college or marching DCI, I say this because im an avid E,W,F fan at only the age of 24 been listening 2 the group since i was 13. good job kids

  • the hell?? are they the E ,W & F juke box?!??!

    great job, 4 real!!

  • we played this song last year a and we did our band dance in it "Thriller" along w/ fantasy and sock tht september.

  • hey TheDupee - im in the same exact situation now, palying this song with my marchingband, and i play the fleuglehorn, melophone, whatever, and we only have two trumpets, only one of which is good. XD and i was talking to my music director if i should switch to the trumpet, haha! goodluck to all :D

  • xlaspapasfritasx, do you play mello or flugel? Thers a difference. or if you play both, whats the difference playing wise? ive never played a mellophone, only a Flugelhorn in G.

  • my school is playing this exact same show and arrangement this year for marching band. we're definitely not this good haha, and i'm the only trumpet besides one person who's switching over from melophone to play the second trumpet part

  • Great Job!!! This music took me back to the day.

  • low bras wasnt weak.. theres only TWO tubas two vs like 40 other woodwinds... i think its awesome u can STILL hear the tubas

  • but there was bass guitar

  • haha the bass guitar guy was also a tuba player

  • Trumpets are very strong for there not to be very many of them.

    I was impressed.

  • We played this exact show my freshman year of high school...this is taking me right back there.

At the time, our band was large and could be mistaken for being in charge...it went downhill after that. The year after I graduated, they didn't even do a real halftime show. They stood in a block and played random pep band songs.

    Dead depressing. Stupid nostalgia! lol

  • I had the same experience, MrYoda926. We played this my freshman year of high school, we were fairly large and did really well. The year before I got into high school was the best, really. It slowly went downhill from there, until my senior year (I was drum major) and it just wasn't the same.

  • The worst part of it all is to have to watch it happen and not be able to do anything about it.

  • @MrYoda926 playing this song for the homecoming halftime show this year. :D TROMBONES!!!!

  • Awesome sound from this size band. Great music selection. Made me want to get up and dance. Great job guys!

  • i am a citizen od germany. but i love ew&f and the US. god bless you
