The tibetan exile at 1:40 is talking and rationalizing terrorist violence. Once the dalai lama pass away the tibetans will use violence to achieve their aims. They will show the world their true colors. Religious fanatics will always seek to justify their violence one way or another. It's disturbing listening to him and seeing his facial expressions about using violence for his cause. Religious extremist have become the greatest threat to world peace, even when they preach non-violence.

I think a huge problem with this film is that it only shows exiles in India. Exiles who have been out of touch with Tibet for 50+ years and many young people even born outside who have never even seen Tibet. I sympathize a lot less to a cause when the activist have never experienced it themselves and is just regurgitating other people's accounts. While shooting footage actually in Tibet is more difficult, it is certainly not impossible unlike say in North Korea and says a lot more.

This film is about, and from the view point of Tibetans living in exile. It doesn't pretend to be anything different. I also met and Interviewed Tibetans who had arrived in India in the past few years, their views were not too different to those expressed in the film.

I have since been in Tibet and spoke to many Tibetans. I chose not to film their as I couldn't guarantee their safety.

I would not necessarily call myself an activist.

The film simply follows a group of Tibetans living in exile in India, who want Tibet to be able to take part in the 2008 Olympics Games in Beijing. Filmed in McLeod Ganj and Delhi it gives an insight into a community in exile and asks: Why did they flee Tibet?

What is the situation in Tibet under Chinese occupation?

What are their hopes for the future of their country, people and cultures?

And What about the 2008 games?
