The tibetan exile at 1:40 is talking and rationalizing terrorist violence. Once the dalai lama pass away the tibetans will use violence to achieve their aims. They will show the world their true colors. Religious fanatics will always seek to justify their violence one way or another. It's disturbing listening to him and seeing his facial expressions about using violence for his cause. Religious extremist have become the greatest threat to world peace, even when they preach non-violence.
@shinikita then what the hell do you want them to do,keep quiet when their fellow citizen's inside tibet are made to undergo abortion ,torture is imposed on them ,violence is wrong i agree, but even if an innocent cow is threatened it will fight back, you can't call that violence,it's called self defence.i think the tibetian's have waited long enough, it's time they took up arms and fight for thier freedom, and being an indian i am ready to fight alongside them for justice, freedom.
Why don't you Indians help yourself first before trying to help the Tibetans establish a theocracy in the 21st century! Why don't you and help Free Kashmir from Indian humanrights abuse going on right now where teenagers are being shot for throwing stones to defend themselves. Why don't you help 1/2 the worlds poor and illiterate residing in your own country? And by all means free yourself from your White Italian CIA whore proxy politician Sonia Gandhi. Go on now!
@2101silverstein look who is talking about kashmir??lolz how much do u know about kashmir and india pal,yes kashmir has it's problem's because of paskitan isi trying to promote jihad(anti-india)movement inside kashmir, have you ever fuckkin been to kashmir, atleast india is not kickin out all the kashmiri people out of kashmir unlike china, and about sonia gandhi yes i agree myself that she is promoting family politic's and i can assure u that we youth will kick congress out in comming elections..
@2101silverstein yes we have poor people around 300 million to be exact, but our's is not a fuckkin puny or tiny country. our present population itself is 1.2 billion, and for you information let me tell u that india is among the second fastest growing economy in the world.and and average age group of 25-40, when the whole europe is getting fucked by recession only a few country along with india are able to grow at a steady rate.we also have more than 7 people in the top 10 billionaire list.
@2101silverstein i think u fuck ur mother every day assole that's why you speak like a racist, learn to speak,or go fuck your sister also.you barbarian stinking slut.
What's the matter Mandeep? Does the truth hurt??? Indians are such a cowardly subhuman race bred by their masters for obedience! No go get me some curry beef and serve it to me the traditional Indian way....on your knees curry bitch! India is a sham democracy and a failed state trying to put on a facade to the world of being this land of freedom and democracy. The only freedom in India is to be poor and starve. Democracy was a good word until Indian curry bastards came along!
Respond to this video... citizen's inside tibet are made to undergo abortion ,torture is imposed on them ,violence is wrong i agree, but even if an innocent cow is threatened it will fight back, you can't call that violence,it's called self defence.i think the tibetian's have waited long enough, it's time they took up arms and fight for thier freedom, and being an indian i am ready to fight alongside them for justice, freedom.
I think a huge problem with this film is that it only shows exiles in India. Exiles who have been out of touch with Tibet for 50+ years and many young people even born outside who have never even seen Tibet. I sympathize a lot less to a cause when the activist have never experienced it themselves and is just regurgitating other people's accounts. While shooting footage actually in Tibet is more difficult, it is certainly not impossible unlike say in North Korea and says a lot more.
This film is about, and from the view point of Tibetans living in exile. It doesn't pretend to be anything different. I also met and Interviewed Tibetans who had arrived in India in the past few years, their views were not too different to those expressed in the film.
I have since been in Tibet and spoke to many Tibetans. I chose not to film their as I couldn't guarantee their safety.

The film simply follows a group of Tibetans living in exile in India, who want Tibet to be able to take part in the 2008 Olympics Games in Beijing. Filmed in McLeod Ganj and Delhi it gives an insight into a community in exile and asks: Why did they flee Tibet?
What is the situation in Tibet under Chinese occupation?
What are their hopes for the future of their country, people and cultures?
I think most Zang ethnic minorities (Tibetans) activists, living outside of their motherland, China and a small number inside China, including a small minority of Western sympathisers have realized that they have lost a lot of respect in the International Communities today. The disruptions of the Olympic Torch, The Beijing Games, The riots in Lhasa, Xizang (Tibet) province of China in March 2008, and many other disruptive demonstrations had been condemn by people worldwide. Peace to the world.
Most Tibetans and Foreigners suffer repression in China because the world is turning a deaf ear to this human right abuse by the chinese government.....Tibetans have exposed them. This Olympic has been termed as the worst of its kind.....The Chinese Beijing Olympic slogan:"One World One Olympics" holds only during the Olympics because after the Olympics China will continue with its draconian policies. They informed Bars in Beijing already to refuse Blacks n Indians entery Discrimination
are u saying this just for the sake of saying , coz you need to have a good look in history of tibet and china . tibet has never ever been under china
im standing with Tibet people fight for freedom for your country,we must stand up raising our voice to the world let the world know chinese government are cruel they invaded Tibet and invaded Vietnam!!! Free Tibet!!! hand off Vietnam!!! one and for all!!! HOANG SA TRUONG SA ALWAYS BELONG TO Vietnam!!! we stand together lets boycott oylmpic 2008!!! together we can make a diffrent in God I Trust!!!
I love you palkyi. I am so imbued by your commitment and dedication to the tibetan cause. You are truly a great role model to every tibetan youngsters.. I wish I have a girl friend like you..
Tibet was never a part of china and will never be.....
All tibetans must rise and fight this chinks for their survival..
The CCP of china is a thug and filled with goons and gangsters and who must be destroyed.. for world peace.

I would not necessarily call myself an activist.
The film simply follows a group of Tibetans living in exile in India, who want Tibet to be able to take part in the 2008 Olympics Games in Beijing. Filmed in McLeod Ganj and Delhi it gives an insight into a community in exile and asks: Why did they flee Tibet?

And What about the 2008 games?

Tibet was NEVER a part of China. China was part of Genghis Khan's empire and still allowed you to believe in whatever you wanted to believe in.
Open your mind.
Tibet for the Tibetans.
