I can't understand why you would be asked for more money if you had already paid. It could be something to do with a mix up between quarterly and yearly payment options.

Could anyone help me. I joined slipstream trader by credit card got my membership and password and receipt and they sent me an email asking for twice as much.

Is this scam? Or is a legitimate because everything I have experienced so far has been very unprofessional.

I'd add another spin on the devastating trade example that you described: if Bush hadn't announced the bailouts and you had stuck to your hedge strategy and the markets continued to fall the next day; the temptation would have been to kick yourself for not going all in!  All hedging strategies exist to reduce risk, and the trade off is accepting the possibility of some loss of opportunity. If that is unacceptable to a trader, then they must realize that they are by default going kamikaze.

I've been enjoying your weekly updates now for a few months here in Canada and find your perspectives on technicals and fundamentals extremely informative. Your personal story and your observations about the psychology of trading in extreme markets is something that we can all relate to!

Murray I assume you trade international stocks/ETFs/options/futures etc. What broker do you use, and does it have all the charting functionality you require? I'm currently with Interactive Brokers but they're charting system is rubbish, and using a 3rd party charting program with IB seems unnecessarily complex. Yep, Murray is a gun with a sincerity sadly lacking in this sector. Like other subscribers I am in front from following his trades although I am guilty of taking profit a little early at times. I am most impressed with how he deals with his errors...no BS and puts it out there with the aim of improving next time. I think he has picked up some of his trading plan from 'Trading in the Zone' but maybe Murray can clarify. I am a very happy subscriber and plan to stay on board for a while yet.

Murray, thank you for your frank account of a couple days in 2008. I wish i had watched this video Dec 2011, as i did exactly the same thing. I was stupidly chasing my lose, when in fact all I had to had was hedge against it. i look forward to your weekly market updates, so good luck for 2012.

I am a subscriber to Marray's Slipstream Trader. I have not only made over 10 times the subscription fee on his trades recommendations alone (been a member for about 7 months), my own trading has improved greatly.

The best thing about Murray is that when he gets one wrong there is no BS excuses, he analyses the decision and all the subscribers learn the lesson.

Murray, thank you very much for your candidness. Although your story was a very unfornuate one, It gives me a little comfort to know that I am not the only one who has gone through something similar. I have let greed take over many times...and EVERY time I have lost out big time. And when I've traded emotionally, I've made errors which lead to more errors. Hi, interesting article..........as for greed, i am only a small fry, normally i am happy if i can make 5% on a trade in a short period of time especially at the moment the way the market is. But how many times could i have pulled out on a trade sell at 4% but didnt, then that trade never got to the 5%. Greed is good they say, but not all the time. By the way when is your free report for 2012. thanks

What a great and honest video. I have followed Murray for a long time and I have incorporated his price distribution analysis as part of my own trading strategy. I always keep a little saying in the back of my mind. "You haven't made it in trading until you have lost it." Thanks for sharing that story Murray.

Hats off to you Murray. Thankyou for your candour. Awesome video as I had a similar thing happen to me when S&P e mini was 1074. I didn't think it would rally back to test 1292 as it is now. I gave up my huge 10 contract gains. I could have easily close out but my greed took over
