That was pretty good. Just so you know, youtubers that are NOT U.S Americans think that when you say you are american, sort of like rob them of what they are. In fact, all Latin American countries refer to U.S. North Americans as Americans because practically Hollywood have won that phrasing for the U.S. and many more, by popularizing them in movies, etc. With that said, you have said it just like anyone who speak fluent Spanish would have said it, although, I lean toward fixing that :-)

You have somehow a light mexican accent, let me give you a tip, learn peninsular spanish. It may seem in the US that mexican spanish is usefull but besides in Mexico, no one speaks with that accent. If you go to Chile in South America people will notice that accent. Its like learning English with South African accent.

There difference lies only in the accent between these spanish speaking countries, however if you speak with Mexican accent in Argentina for example, you wont be welcomed as a "brother", just for speaking mexican accent. Ah y otra cosa el español no tiene que tener un acento latino! Originalmente no lo tenía, simplemente se expandió por las americas y se modificó en esos lugares. Hablas español bastante bien pero hay una cosa que me pone de los nervios .Ya ya sé que soy un poco intolerante pero es que yo soy de España y tu acento es muy latino. Aquí te entenderían pero te mirarían un poco raro. Me gusta mucho más el acento de España y no solo porque he nacido allí. Es más depurado y puro. No tiene mezclas ni se utilizan tantos anglicismos.

El ceceo es una parte del español. Y porque no intentas leer tu una rima de Béquer con acento mejicano, sonará fuera de lugar.
