  • These people really needed a show?

  • hate these ads at the start.. you cant even skip them and they last for ever (30secs) but it feels as though they do!!

  • Come on just let her in she wants to change not shit herself

  • Im not saying she is a good person or what she did was good.... But im guessing you're gonna have to be pretty brave to turn yourself in

  • @salmayala Yeah, I agree.

  • I'm from Nebraska and I've been to the NCCW on a tour. It isn't exactly a prison. The Correctional Center is like jail-rehab. So it's not going to be lock and key....

  • Hey shes pregnant you know she fucks! But she is one nasty ass bitch! Eww I would never ever touch my dick

  • :53 WTF they are eating Krystal Cheesburgers in womans prison!!! What about the guy prison!?!?!?!

  • Wouldnt it be a shitty life to be born in prison then commit a crime and die in prison?

  • poor woman

  • the reason she probably turned her self in was so that she could get free accommodation, food and nursery.

  • @Maccaism Yeah I was thinking the same thing.

  • I watched a documentary about State Vally Prison for women , one of the inmates had her child and the child was taken away after 48 hours, and the mother was send back to prison without the child. The mother left in tears and i don't know what kind of mental problems she will face due to that. I was crying for her A RIVER like it was me who was in this position. I m a mom and the first days after birth made me feel proud . I want to do something to change this cruel system. :((

  • I should visit you all - and make you all pregnant - ... ( Smiley ) ...

  • Why should the child be subjected to a prison sentence because of their mothers stupidity, i don't care if the person wants to make a change a prison sentence is unforgivable

  • awww i wanna cry :( i cant believe the babies have to suffer :(

  • LOL i am glad i live in norway- d prisons here are luxurious!!!

  • wait... so the baby lives there with her in prison? i dont know if i got it

  • @Neueregel I agree with you! I used to work on a mexican prision and this is nothing. Actually that girl live much better than I live in my country, and I'm a college student, never been involve in a crime.

  • you all have no idea what ppl have been through and everyone deserves a second chance as I did my self .you ppl need to get a life she is a good mom you dont know her so get a life!!!

  • u should be thankful that u are prisoned in america...it's a lot better than prisons elsewhere in the world.

  • Its sad she's pregnant and has to be in prison... WOW! I just hope the baby is taken care of!

  • I used to live in Nebr. and worked at both D&E and NCCW. It is a real prison and real things happen at both places that 99% of the world doesn't want to see. That being said the sentence is punishment, but any Correctional Dept. Mission Statement is to rehabilitate the individual so they can be reintroduced to society. These people should be given mulitiple oppertunities to better themselves thus they are better people than when they went in.

  • that's probably why people "want" to get locked up, b/c they make it so livable it's crazy

  • @Pavee1987 It has to be livable unless you want to breech their human rights?

It's not an ideal environment in there anyway. Imagine every day that you have no control over where you go, who you see, what you do & when you do it. Daily humiliation when bathing, toileting or being filmed 24/7, never having privacy.

It isn't a guarantee that she will even be accepted into the nursery program therefore missing out on anytime with her baby.

Still think 'people want to be locked up'? If so, why?

  • @amelitaz it's still livable, you get fed 3 times a day, break time outside...no work, you get your own bed...but privacy is the least of your worries when you have nothing to loose...if i was homeless i would get locked up on the daily

  • @Pavee1987 I really don't think that is enough of an incentive to be incarcerated.

Trading freedom & control over your life for 3 meals a day and ''break time outside''?

Then again, you just said you would. I can only imagine that kind of logic would stem from people who are comfortable with being dependent on the government or not very resilient.

  • @amelitaz i'm just saying, if i was to be homeless with nothing else to loose, i would...not if i had family and friends that care about me...your stupid dude

  • @Pavee1987 sure, I'm stupid because I don't think people ''want to be locked up''. Btw don't call me stupid when you can't even spell ''you're''. Stupid Christian.

  • @amelitaz dude, it's youtube, not english...so you may go kill your self now

  • @Pavee1987 That isn't very Christian of you. =]

  • @amelitaz it's funny how atheists seem to think they know everything

  • @Pavee1987 I just don't think it's very Christian to be suggesting suicide to someone? You might want to go to Church this Sunday for confession =)

  • @Pavee1987 yep, you're a good 'Christian'.

  • @middy444 dank you

  • wow this is crazy I just saw someone from my town on this show lol ...

  • This is a great program for the women who want to bond with their babies and do better for them and themselves when they are released. A mother that cannot bond with their baby may feel detatched from them and so much guilt about it that they resort to using and getting into trouble all over again when they get out because they would probably feel like the damage is done, so why try? Good for this prison! All prisons should do this! And women who don't want their babies can do otherwise.

  • Babies in prison?

  • She was probably like "OH shit i'm pregnant?" *Turns self into jail*

  • I think that it's good she's in prison when she's pregnant and i only say that because if she wasn't in prison, she might still be on drugs and that could hurt the baby a lot

  • Well no shit it's colorful and cheery, the mothers are the criminals, not their babies. They shouldn't ever have to suffer because their moms are criminals.

  • pregnant prison. where do i sgn up to be a warden. eh?

  • Damn, that's a C class hotel, not a prison!!
