parts of the song is reminscent of 50's doo wop which is it's appeal. The hook sounds like something from the Spinners or something related. The point is, is that their is timelessness associated with this genre which appeals to everyone. It's a bit too parody, but I like it none the less. MSG's use of real instruments and their raw sound works well, and is a plus in my book. Great band.
