  • 2:48 what is that giant thing above the fire? Ive never seen such a big transformer if thats the transformer!

  • @BlackDragon4716 It is part of the transformer, the metal expanded, thats why it looks bigger than a usual transformer you would see. as a matter of fact its still in the milton hydro yard. Transformers usually do not end up like that after being struck by lightening.

  • I saw this tower struck the other morning. The strike made it all the way to ground and the whole tower just lit up a bright intense purple. The thunder was so loud.

CFPL Television Tower Tower was built in 1961 and belongs to the oldest supertall TV towers in Canada. The current tower replaced the original 500-foot (150 m) CFPL Television Tower completed in 1953.
