@BlackDragon4716 It is part of the transformer, the metal expanded, thats why it looks bigger than a usual transformer you would see. as a matter of fact its still in the milton hydro yard. Transformers usually do not end up like that after being struck by lightening.
I saw this tower struck the other morning. The strike made it all the way to ground and the whole tower just lit up a bright intense purple. The thunder was so loud.
