I want to ask is the word "j" in "jeo-gi-yo" pronounce as a "t"? Because I can hear only the "t" sound and not a "j" sound. I don't know if it's just my imagination.
@mai567 oh, forgot to ask (watching the vid for the 2nd time ^^) - is it more natural to ask for things in plural or singular? i'm referring to the first question: "moja iseoyo?". so hat or hats? :)
hi,thanks for the lessons and the free notes...^^ can you do an interactive video or something bout how to express your feelings? such i'm angry and so on...
omg, i should go learn korean again, .. Some how i didnt go further with the lessons cuz im so busy with school and work and oef -.- but i want to learn it so badly D: ..
I like the lesson but I found it uneasy to look at Kyung-hwa ssi because she kept on staring somewhere else (she might be reading the script) and seem not making a connection to her viewer (students). Thank you for the free lessons.
@chernobyll09 She was (for about 3 minutes) just looking at the display of the camera - it was her first time filming this type of lesson so she'll get better next time :) Thank you!
that was great; one question, when you use the korean version of 's' letter ㅅ, sometime you say it like 'sh' and sometimes like an 's'. how do you know when to say it each way? thanks!
This is awesome! But how do I ask the sales person if I want a new piece? Like in jewellery stores. Anhd how do I ask a sales person if they have an item in my size? For eg, shoes and shirts.
@fftggifi I think it's the camera display, they are probably video recording themselves and they are looking there to see how it's going. Also Hyunwoo has the script on his lap and he looks at it a few times.
May I give one recommendation. You are using a white background and you are using white font in hangul. I am having a hard time seeing the first characters. Please change the color of the font, maybe red or something. I really, really love you videos! Thank you so much for your time and effort.
@DukeLenneth They are both attached after a verb stem and express the future, but -(으) ㄹ게요 [-(eu)l ge-yo] focuses more on your actions or decisions AS A REACTION TO or AS A RESULT OF what the other person says.
@wittygirlhaeri Awww T.T Don't be sad, 경화. Some people are so demanding. I think you did a great job, and it didn't bother me when you didn't look at the camera :)
really useful! especially very few books teach the phrase ‘im just looking around’. I still rmb last time when I was wandering in a shop in Korea and the owner asked me '뭐 맘에 드시는 게 있어요?' I wanted to tell him i was justing looking around but instead came out with '그냥....'and he was really sad cos he thought i meant his shoes were '그냥' or so-so to me....:P
Thank you so much. Can't wait for the salesperson version. i want to impress me korean customers and say something more than "thank you" and "hello" and "come again" in korean.
Browsing in Korean department stores was so frustrating because the salespeople would always follow me around and I couldn't express that I was just looking! Can't wait to test out some of these phrases!! Thanks! :)

@mai567 We normally say things in singular. So, I would say "모자 있어요?" even though I want to buy 모자들. ;-)

@nariday Koreans don't actually distinguish them. "ㅅ" is really pronounced differently depending on which vowel it is with though.
