  • Yu-gi-oh? or yeo-gi yo =P

  • These lessons are great - I really appreciate how the material is presented!

  • it's really helpful thanks!

  • I want to ask is the word "j" in "jeo-gi-yo" pronounce as a "t"? Because I can hear only the "t" sound and not a "j" sound. I don't know if it's just my imagination.

  • thank u ^-^ I love the video <3

  • what about "Could you give me a discount?" in korean?

  • @korchnz I THINK that would be something like.

(이거) 할인은 없나요? Is there a discount (for this)?

  • This will help me a lot when I arrive at the Incheon airport for a six hour stopover :)

  • I like shopping, I don't like shopping. LOL

  • Annyeong haseyo!!!!!

  • 현우씨 요즈음 비보이를 연습해요?

  • @brownboy252 네 ^_^ 가끔 연습해요 : )

  • such a cute video! :) and useful ;) thank you!

  • @mai567 oh, forgot to ask (watching the vid for the 2nd time ^^) - is it more natural to ask for things in plural or singular? i'm referring to the first question: "moja iseoyo?". so hat or hats? :)

  • @mai567 We normally say things in singular. So, I would say "모자 있어요?" even though I want to buy 모자들. ;-)

  • @wittygirlhaeri thank you very much :) you looked very sweet in the video, btw. hope to see more of you in the future lessons. greetings from 세르비아 ;)

  • You guys are great!

  • hi,thanks for the lessons and the free notes...^^ can you do an interactive video or something bout how to express your feelings? such i'm angry and so on...

  • thank you! this is really helpful!

  • omg, i should go learn korean again, .. Some how i didnt go further with the lessons cuz im so busy with school and work and oef -.- but i want to learn it so badly D: ..

  • amazing stuff n.n !!! Learning more thanks to you guys :D !! Thanks for all your videos and lessons :)

  • this is very useful but it lacks one of the most important thing in shopping, bargaining!

how to ask for any DC?

  • Liked it. Thanks!

  • 다음 주 서울에 여행할 께요...any video on how to bargain..?

  • Thank you!

  • I like the lesson but I found it uneasy to look at Kyung-hwa ssi because she kept on staring somewhere else (she might be reading the script) and seem not making a connection to her viewer (students). Thank you for the free lessons.

  • @chernobyll09 She was (for about 3 minutes) just looking at the display of the camera - it was her first time filming this type of lesson so she'll get better next time :) Thank you!

  • that was great; one question, when you use the korean version of 's' letter ㅅ, sometime you say it like 'sh' and sometimes like an 's'. how do you know when to say it each way? thanks!

  • @nariday Koreans don't actually distinguish them. "ㅅ" is really pronounced differently depending on which vowel it is with though.

  • always love ttmik lessons! <3

  • This is awesome! But how do I ask the sales person if I want a new piece? Like in jewellery stores. Anhd how do I ask a sales person if they have an item in my size? For eg, shoes and shirts.

  • @xMissZx A new piece? You mean when you want a new product, not the displayed one?

  • Thank you guys. A good lesson.

  • where are the woman's eyes looking at?

  • @fftggifi I guess there is a script at the side of the camera... so the eye focus is a bit off :)

  • @lwh110391 U smart :)

  • @fftggifi I think it's the camera display, they are probably video recording themselves and they are looking there to see how it's going. Also Hyunwoo has the script on his lap and he looks at it a few times.

  • 남자친구있어요? 정말!!!! 어디에? XD

  • @ingridunico 재미없는 농담 해서 미안해요 ㅎㅎ

  • @talktomeinkorean Yes it's a shame that we can't find a store like that right? XD

It was a good to make us think about it! thank you!

  • 이상한 질문이야~

  • i like it ,make more vids^^

  • moja in my language means socks lol

  • I agree. Shopping is the worst.

  • could you please make a video about korean phrases for a flight with Korean Air Line ?

  • May I give one recommendation. You are using a white background and you are using white font in hangul. I am having a hard time seeing the first characters. Please change the color of the font, maybe red or something. I really, really love you videos! Thank you so much for your time and effort.

  • @MrThesq Thanks!! : ) You can be assured that in the next video, the text will be easier to read : )

  • Thanks alot guys! I'm looking forward to your sales person perspective video! I can finally help my Korean clients!

  • Just in time.

I'm going to Seoul tmr!! ^^

  • Thank you for the lesson ^^

  • is the "-ul geh yo" ending the shortened form for the future tense "-ul ko ye yo", or is it different?

  • @DukeLenneth They are both attached after a verb stem and express the future, but -(으) ㄹ게요 [-(eu)l ge-yo] focuses more on your actions or decisions AS A REACTION TO or AS A RESULT OF what the other person says.

  • what on earth is that Kyung-Hwa looking at? she looks like shes out of it

  • @ctkt21 Sorry. I was looking at the monitor! :( I'll do better next time. ;-)

  • Excellent video, I am a sales associate. This is extremely helpful for my Korean customers. Can't wait for the next part.

  • 와! 고맙습니다! ^;^

  • woaah, just the phrases I wanted to learn! I liked the video very much!! <3 VERY HELPFUL ~

  • Thanks that was really useful and I will practice many times.

  • AW i wish i knew the "just browsing" phrase... The service in korea is a bit overwhelming for foreigners, specially if they follow you... haha

  • 경화, look at the lens!

  • @p00lman sigh... ㅠㅠ

  • @wittygirlhaeri Awww T.T Don't be sad, 경화. Some people are so demanding. I think you did a great job, and it didn't bother me when you didn't look at the camera :)

  • @SalvableRuin 고마워요 :) Your words were great encouragement to me.

  • nice..right before I fly to Korea next 2 week..weee, 감사합니다..!

  • love your channel.^^

  • this video is sooooo awesomeeeee thank you so much!!

  • @msr26 Thank you so much!! :D

  • thank you sooo much!!!

  • really useful! especially very few books teach the phrase ‘im just looking around’. I still rmb last time when I was wandering in a shop in Korea and the owner asked me '뭐 맘에 드시는 게 있어요?' I wanted to tell him i was justing looking around but instead came out with '그냥....'and he was really sad cos he thought i meant his shoes were '그냥' or so-so to me....:P

  • Thank you so much. Can't wait for the salesperson version. i want to impress me korean customers and say something more than "thank you" and "hello" and "come again" in korean.

  • Browsing in Korean department stores was so frustrating because the salespeople would always follow me around and I couldn't express that I was just looking! Can't wait to test out some of these phrases!! Thanks! :)

  • i love you guys, your so helpful! <3

  • Love your videos! Thank you, you are doing a good job!
