Next time, do research, or talk to someone who is actually in pain (and no, I'm not suicidal - just saying). It's *usually* either you cause someone pain or you're the one in it. So, they dress differently. They're just much farther than marionettes than most preps are - they're themselves. I'm 13 and even I know this.

I'm 16 and I've been emo for 5 years. me and my friends have been bullied to the point the 2 of them have tried to take their lives I showed them this song and they are so happy that some people realize that emos are people too.
Of course emo kids are normal normal people. Just as empty-minded, twofaced, self-centered, selfish, whiney, and arrogant as everyone else. The only difference is that they take those attributes and multiply them by 1,000 because most of their lives are so pleasant that they don't know happiness any more. Emo is short for emotional, and doesn't necessarily mean that you cut yourself. And suicide rates are so high because most schools and adults do nothing. I've been there. Next time, do research, or talk to someone who is actually in pain (and no, I'm not suicidal - just saying). It's *usually* either you cause someone pain or you're the one in it. So, they dress differently. They're just much farther than marionettes than most preps are - they're themselves. I'm 13 and even I know this.
