  • Im thinking of taking the sound and reaction components of an ordinary toy lightsaber and putting it into a custom housing.....think thatd work?...

  • How do u get it to make sounds when it hits something?

  • how the fuck did i end up here? the fuck?

  • @lolxxWoWxxlol ahahahaha me 2, i was looking for that KRYPTONIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIITE from the movie KICK-ASS (great movie) and what the hell is this lightsabers OMFG how old are u guys 40 and still live with your mom?!

  • @malum69 yeep Great Movie :D

  • hey where can u get the blade material from

  • Where can i buy a saber with crystal core

  • @totizedger Dantooine

  • how u get the parts for this?

  • i have a normal force fx mace windu blade. I want to make my ligthsaber unique and change the color. DO you know how to change the color?

  • this may sound nooby, but what is MHS, cuz im interested in making one?

  • What sound board is that?!?! its sick

  • do all lightsabers come with sound options and that weird type of blade that you have put in it

  • it was great until it started talking and making R2-D2 beeps

  • it makes a weird sound when its whirring but yeah its a great blade :)

  • That's so awsome!

BTW, I am new to the custom saber shop so I was wondering where is that place where you can make your own custom hilt?

    Thanks in advance.

  • the MHS builder flash program is great for doing just that!!

  • make a hit with other pieces and use a better red

  • Awesome hilt dude! Very nice

  • Paint the Hild black then red rings around it it would look pretty bad ass

  • Not including the soundcard, how much did it cost you?

  • Hey, very cool--nice looking saber... sorry I never posted a comment before. I usually try to at least pop in and say hello to most people who do CF vids and say thanks. :)

So... thanks, and glad you're enjoying!

  • Yeah, I like the Ep. 5 activation sound too. I want my saber to have that, haha.

  • wow i did'nt know people made custom saber's...it looks better then the crap on TV for kids, then again im more of an anime fan than Star wars fan....although Chewbacca (sorry if i did'nt speel it right) IS AWESOME!!!

  • u spelled it right! :)

  • Nice. I'm just going to get some MHS parts and do the same thing you did. I liked your last sound font, sounded something like from the Transformers movie or something. XD If you have a stock MR board, could you use that to install CF sounds from the cd or does a board come with the CF cd set? I've never bought a CF before so I dont really know everything about it but it sounds and looks like fun. :]

  • Thanks. No, unfortunately you cannot put any external sounds onto a stock MR board, at least to the best of my knowledge. Even if you could, I imagine it would be super difficult. The way the CF board works is that it has a onboard mini-sd card slot, and you put sound font info into the mini sd card and put it directly into the CF board. This way you can change your sound fonts easily and often. If you can find a CF board, there is really no comparison between it and a MR board.

  • how much did that cost you?

  • and is it the ultrasound one?

  • That's a shame. Maybe in the future :-P

  • awesome saber.

    -paul in colorado :)

  • Excellent work!

  • exxelent!!!

  • Has anyone designed a lightsaber yet where you press the button and the lightsaber comes out like it does in the films? Coz I would totally buy that!

  • I don't know where but they have em for sale for around $100.

They're like real life props, but you can't play with them like you would in the movie or you would break the crystal.

  • Hi Ellimist... happy new year! Very cool, I can dig the strips on the grip just like Corbin Das does. :)

Glad you like the sound CD too... and yup, Nano Deus is one of my personal favorites too. :)

  • Thanks! And yes, the CD is crazy awesome

  • Well done. I like the strips added over the grip section. Did you drill holes in thr grooves for the sound or are you using the speaker pommel?

  • thanks

Yeah I'm using a speaker inside the pommel, there is a grill on the bottom that I didn't show...

There is only about half an inch for resonance, but I'm working on making my battery pack smaller so I can move the CF board up the hilt a little more.
