@VerzGP i drive a GTP and i can tell you that it is quick for what it is ... a 4 door sedan... at sea level a stock cobra will run 12.8. a GTP runs 14.9 stock. if you took the time to read the description youll c that he is at 4000 ft. cars wont run as fast as they do at sea level at that high elevation. if you drive a gtp upto 4000 feet it will be as proportionally slow as this cobra is.
@GPGTPDriver Even for a 4 door sedan, 14.9 is not quick, not this day and age. It's completely average. A Subaru Forester, Toyota Camry and Buick Regal all do it in 14.9. The Regal is actually 2 tenths faster at 14.7. So no, that is not quick for what it is, it is AVERAGE for what it is. Quick for a 4 door sedan would be anywhere from mid to low 13's. Fast for a 4 door sedan is CTSV, AMG, Bentley type shit ect ect.. A GTP is SUBJECTIVELY quick TO YOU, not to the rest of the experienced world.

El Paso Texas, 4000ft and 90 degrees, they won't run mid 13's. At an altitude closer to sea level they will run mid 13's. It takes about 1 second off your quarter mile time in those conditions.
I've never seen a completely stock terminator in the low 12's but everyone would like to say that. Stock there rated at a 13 flat I've personally seen with a driver a very high 12 but basically the same as an LS2 there rated a little higher at 13.2-13.4 depending on rating and Ive seen one run a 12.8. But eating them for lunch is a little too optimistic.
Elevation sucks so hard. I live at 7500 ft and I'm considering a supercharger with low boost to negate as much of that elevation detriment as possible.

@VerzGP i drive a GTP and i can tell you that it is quick for what it is ... a 4 door sedan... at sea level a stock cobra will run 12.8. a GTP runs 14.9 stock. if you took the time to read the description youll c that he is at 4000 ft. cars wont run as fast as they do at sea level at that high elevation. if you drive a gtp upto 4000 feet it will be as proportionally slow as this cobra is.

@GPGTPDriver Even for a 4 door sedan, 14.9 is not quick, not this day and age. It's completely average. A Subaru Forester, Toyota Camry and Buick Regal all do it in 14.9. The Regal is actually 2 tenths faster at 14.7. So no, that is not quick for what it is, it is AVERAGE for what it is. Quick for a 4 door sedan would be anywhere from mid to low 13's. Fast for a 4 door sedan is CTSV, AMG, Bentley type shit ect ect.. A GTP is SUBJECTIVELY quick TO YOU, not to the rest of the experienced world.

El Paso Texas, 4000ft and 90 degrees, they won't run mid 13's. At an altitude closer to sea level they will run mid 13's. It takes about 1 second off your quarter mile time in those conditions.

I've never seen a completely stock terminator in the low 12's but everyone would like to say that. Stock there rated at a 13 flat I've personally seen with a driver a very high 12 but basically the same as an LS2 there rated a little higher at 13.2-13.4 depending on rating and Ive seen one run a 12.8. But eating them for lunch is a little too optimistic.

I had a 97 cobra with hpipe, flows, k&n and 4.10s and it would smoke lt1s all day and run with every ls1 I faced with the same similar kinda mods and it was in the low 14s. one would think your car is slow cuz of the slow track times...but that's hard to believe when you run beside ls1s all day on the street. the track times here are close to a full second slower than sea level so yes...it is true some tracks are way slower than others and that has to be taken into consideration

grindking10000, That GTP has no INTERCOOLER, and is getting massive KR, tuned or not. GTPs loose all their potential without the intercooler, I know, I used to have one. Those mods should EASILY beat a regular stock Mustang GT (if it had an intercooler).
matthewmc2003 I also live in Georgia, and yes, Atlanta Dragway SUCKS for times. Silver Dollar is a much better track. ALL the vehicles running there run MUCH BETTER times at other tracks. Altitude (combined with Georgia heat) sucks.

ive been to track and Denver, which is higher in altitude than Denver itself, and top fuel dragsters that normally do 4 or 5's at sea level will do low 7's at Bandimere. altitude, temperature, humidity all makes a difference.

No stock GTP breaks upper 15's. My '91 SHO MTX does the quarter in 14.8 on average with 0-60 in 6.6s, and it's stock (not counting the K&N panel, but who does?) A stock EVO will own a stock GTP in a straight line, plain and simple. Top end, MAYBE your car would catch up, but its doubtful. Your car weighs more and has less power. Now, given that the cars have similar weight-to-hp ratios, your car would pull on the top end. But stock for stock, EVO>GTP.

Evo 0-60>GTP 0-60. Evo braking distance WAY > than the GTP. Evo lateral G force also WAY > GTP g force. Evo 1/4 mile time > GTP 1/4 mile time. Evo;s lap time is far greater than the GTP on ANY track. evo's 5 or MR's 6 speed is > than a fucking gay ass 4 speed auto. too many variables. you lose fuckwad
