What you said doesn't make sense. You have to download daedalus. Put it in your 'game' folder, then go to the roms section and put your roms in there. it should be the same roms as project 64 on comp...

WHAHAHA lol, sony officialy confirmed the PSP is equal to PS2. SO what are u talking about n64 more powerful? Beside N64 gfx where not so great as the gfx of PS1 back in time. You should go and look for the specs then you'll see the n64 is a snal compared to PSP. The reason why some games lag is because of the software code, its hard to emulate a proccesor or something like that.

joystick on the psp = same as joystick on n64 = moving mario around.

X on psp = A on n64 = jump.

triangle = Z on n64 = multi functinal (just try it with different kind of buttons to get to know the functions)

not sure of O or square, but one of these to buttons in B on the n64 = mutli functinal to.

D-pad on psp = camera controls on n64 = moves the camara.

L and R = L and R on the n64 = you dont need them in mario 64

start = start on n64 = pause

And thats about it, have fun.

but i think at that time i had psp overclocked to 333Mhz, and i was running the latest version at that time. Always run the latest version of daedalus, because he always fixes alot of bugs and adds new features as well as performence improvments. just google for Daedalus, and you will most likely find his blog.

because u need to run it on 333mHz, the negative side effect is your battery will run out faster but thats not a big problem for me.

i know some one with 3.72 no costom firmwere and is playing this you do not need custom firmwere thats just to get you to brick your psp- the slim psp siver blick and starwars can ply this only can play this with out custom firmwere

when you select your rom you get a menu with the option:

Start Emulation

Edit Preferences

then press the L(shoulder button) 2 times

en than press X at the option called: Display Framerate.

damn thats come a long way since the first release when i was in the psp scene. how do you work around the buttons? theres something like two less on the psp right?

there is just no D-pad support, but it doesnt really matter because hardly any game uses(not even needs)the dpad from the n64 controller.

the D-pad on the psp is used for the camera control.
