Mozart spoke for most, Schumann notwithstanding, when he wrote of Emanuel Bach, "He is the father, we are the children." In WQ 182 and 183 there are bits and pieces that we were to hear much later as he planted the seeds of growth from the classcal into the romantic. Thanks to HARMONICO101 for sharing this.

Mozart filled out some musical works directly from the music of CPE and one can hear the growth of music at the time.

But the inspiration of CPE was also inspirational to Mozart.
