If Bobby were given the chance to go back to Gibbs, I don't think he would take it. He had a great relationship with the for 11 years and the chemistry wasn't there. I went to that race at the Dega, my father is a HUGE Bobby fan and has been since 96 when Bobby won Homestead just to do a victory lap with his brother Terry. I'm {of course} a Harvick fan so I thought it was absolutly cool when Bobby signed for KHI's NBS team. It meant alot to my father to see bobby win again, and to beat his backstabbing former teamate Tony Stewart.
Well, actually Tony and Bobby were teammates that race, but I realize what you mean for back at JGR. I think once Tony came on board, around 2004 they started focusing on Tony and less on Bobby because they thought with his wisdom n experience, he could drive a car that was less for him and more for Tony. Yeah the first race I watched was the 02 All-Star, when he was in the 18 pontiac and McMurray was driving the 40 on to VL. I really do expect him to get into the chase this year, the top 12 drivers are getting in and I think this is one of his best chances in years.

With them hiring Todd Parrott (before he left), Loomis, and the wisdom of the King and Kyle, Bobby was sure to fit in just perfectly with his patient driving style.
