  • I miss this guy so much. So many out there who should hear this.

  • Your vid is popular on East Timor (Timor

  • lookin at the "likes" and "dislikes" it's for certain that the "dislikes" are in charge of every country around the world. why? i don't know

  • Hahaha funny, but not accurate about Jewish women, they must cover their had as well..can't believe I just said that...lol

  • @talia568 oops head

  • Hats off to George!!

  • this is why people like carlin are amazing: no sugar-coating for anyone, just telling it how it is. people just can't handle the truth, it all has to be: me,myself&&i.

  • George is so fucking right. Love this guy and miss him. Greetings to all reasonable people all over the world from a german fan.

  • Carlin was an atheist, yes. But in his commentary about the phrase, "God bless America!" he makes no reference to atheism. You can all shut up about it now. Really, whether you're an atheist, theist, or any kind of "ist" (or not), the sentiment I hear him expressing is one about arrogance.

    Sincerely, Former-Catholic-Turned-Atheist-Turned-Pagan-Turned-Christian-Turned-Upside-down

  • @NietzscheFan91 Not a direct reference but it's an allusion to the stupidity of religion

  • hahahaha, why do they have a hat loooooooool

  • Does your pocket know something that we don't know?

  • Fuck religious ass wipes...the WORST atrocities in the history of humans have been commited in tha name of God. Fucking fanatics.

  • 66 individuals can't take the truth...

  • `Images` should be ` depictions` in the lower comment .

And about the left hand on the Bible ( down ) and the raised right hand ( up ) ,

it`s in the image of baphomet . Google baphomet , you`ll see ..... left hand down , right one up . Lady justice is malignant .

  • George : ,,What`s up with the ffing hats?``.

Me : Look at the earliest images of the Sumerian Gods , they wear hats .

So did the Egyptian Royalty . Think of the elongated skulls they found .

    ( It`s a theory )

  • This guy may be right about a few things but overall he is a complete tosser.

  • George Carlin is amazing.

  • Culture, religion, politics, and nationality are temporary. The only thing permanent is change. This what George has been so good at explaining.

  • ملحد حقير

  • To ignore, however, the utopian vision that underscores our cultural values and beliefs is to misunderstand the underpinnings of our history, past and current, despite all of our warts--and there are many. There is meaning there.

  • If just more people around the world realized they are indoctrinated brainwashed people.................

  • "Military cemeteries around the world are packed with brainwashed dead soldiers." A harsh reality to swallow but to the one guy who clapped during that statement, that really wasn't the right time for an ovation. Save it for something funny.

  • Fantastic title for a George Carlin excerpt.

  • f-off to everyone who write comments showing their"intelligence".....just say he was funny as hell

  • shit is too funny

  • Carlin is RIGHT. The problem is that the United CHRISTIAN States of America has been infected with the GOD VIRUS. The country is run, not by the President, nor Congress, but brain dead Bible Thumping FundaMENTAL Christians who have infiltrated the Administration, especially from the Liberty University that was founded by the Liar for Jesus and Crook Gerry Falwell to spread the GOD VIRUS.

  • @YMNTWTANKH

FUCK YEAH!!! SOMEONE ELSE FINALLY THINKS SO TOO!!!

  • @YMNTWTANKH

Religion plays little to no part in politics anymore because the politicans are against religion.

  • @YMNTWTANKH coporations owns America, religion is more of a tool that is great for keeping people in line and obiedient

  • @YMNTWTANKH coporations owns America, religion is used to teach people to be content with what little they have, so that the rich can have their wealth and not worying about the poor rising up against them

  • @YMNTWTANKH I'm not a Christian. I'm Hindu (actually it doesn't matter cos i'm just human the way i see it). But Jesus wasn't a bad person.

All he wanted to do was spread COMMON SENSE and WISDOM!! IT is WE who got all the shit backwards and started praying him instead and going around telling people to "accept Jeus into your heart", whatever the fuck that means.

From all the things that I have seen, it presumably means "dont accept Jesus in your HEAD cos ur too dumb to understand what he said"

  • @tarun1982 It is the first step to wisdom if you accept the things that Jezus stands for; love, respect, wisdom. It starts in the head and then the heart or Love follows. The warm feeling inside when you do something good for another person ;) think about it.

  • @MrPuros No. I disagree. Most people who try to spread Christianity, only believe in fairy tales and have no clue what Jesus actually stood for. You cant "accept something in your heart" if you have absolutely NO IDEA what it means!

  • @tarun1982 so where does Jezus stand for then?

  • @MrPuros love, wisdom, compassion, common sense, peace? .. unity?.. helping one another?... You'er the Christian. Isn't it amazing that your asking me?... and you probably wont accept my answer.. So that pretty much sums it up. You people can stick to the whole "Jesus gave birth to this world" fantasy... but i know that he wasn't here to tell us that kinda bullshit.. he was here to tell people to stop believing in all the religious nonsense of that time.

and "do not believe in fools prophets"

  • @tarun1982 but .. lol its soo laughable that now people are teaching that same nonsense all over again.. but now they are doing it in Jesus' name. He must be so pissed off.

"The kingdom of heaven is within". "Keep your religion to yourself" "Dont pray in public"

Aren't those some of his teachings?.. Is it still hard to believe that Jesus was a rational person?.. so when he said "accept me into your heart", to me its pretty obvious it was an appeal to believe his words.

  • @tarun1982 That's what I said first comment on wich you disagree! Jesus gave birth to this world??, hahahaha who says that, that's not true at all! Some "christians" don't know shit at all and they just follow a priest who says great things and promise them Heaven or Hell. A true Christian knows that Jesus stand for love, wisdom, compassion, peace but they don't look at the rest of the History and other people who said/were the same thing.

  • @YMNTWTANKH this country was built on puritanical roots so yea

  • @YMNTWTANKH

Implying that Christians weren't involved in the government of this country at a given time?

Implying that Christians above all other religious groups seek to destroy America and the American way of life?

Implying that every Christian demands to see every American converted to Christianity or face some consequence?

  • @YMNTWTANKH

friend, i am a muslim...and i believe in god,the problem is freemasonry AND the "ILLUMINATED" system of satanism,if everyone whas a GOOD,honoust believing leader...everyone would live in peace...the people on the top give satan a blowjob to get more power...they aren't even christian...Michael jackson wanted to become a muslim and they fucking killed him.this is the only thing what proves that they are anti islam...ISLAM is the ONLY relegion what is perfect...the rest is BULL SHIT.

  • @DarkRetroFan64 Another internet badass....you kids make me laugh

  • George, you were a legend, and the world is far worse off without you.

  • 64 people are brainwashed americans

  • what a great man..respect...americans need to fuckin wake up and be like this man...

  • America is already blessed!

  • @jacasforever . With hate, pain, racism, corruption, murder, violence and crime...

  • @MrScar1988 Im sure you have blown plenty out of your ass! Im proud to be from the country...if your not well thats your problem

  • Cause God doesn't like politics ..so it can not bless American or any politics country

  • @kennylu195 Why? Because he's right?! Did you come to the realization that you've been spouting nonsense your whole life and you're pissed at yourself? Blow it out your ass.

  • @kennylu195 Shut the fuck up.

  • It made it so Clear

N some mind that's not awake still bring up that. " subject " to argue n code

Pity r those being born ....

    Got made use

    Now they blame over populate

  • Spot on, George. Every time I hear someone say this, I say, "and God bless all other countries, too. Right?" You can imagine the twisted looks I get.

But I think that's how God rolls.

  • Hero.

  • very healthy, positive self criticism.

We must question, and search for the answers, and be hopeful God kind enough to find it in our life time.

    saeed khan

  • Back to George, he was a brilliant comic who had the ability to state the obvious that few of us could see and in a way that was very funny. He had more truth in his little finger than all the religous nutters and god botherers put together. His loss to the land of the living is sad indeed.

  • i dont take off my hat, i'm jewish ;p

  • @hornerc1 I think the message is that countries with a standard of living, like the US has, including Canada (Europe is not a country, but various countries IN Europe), and Australia, are blessed compared to countries like Iran, Afghanistan, Somalia, and pretty much every 3rd world country where every day a roadside bomb explodes, or 75% of the population is starving, at best.

If you live in a developed nation...consider yourself blessed.

  • @LivesForJihad No I consider myself intelligent

  • @RayKanen69 Consider yourself of intelligent design? Good for you!

  • @LivesForJihad Intelligent Design does not exist. Intelligent Design was a fantasy thought up by ancient people thousands of years ago because they didn't know any better, now we have undeniable evidence that there is no God, Mohammad, Satan, Chuthlu or whatever people believe is watching and judging us.

  • @RayKanen69 Sorry to burst your bubble...but there is no "undeniable" evidence. Even the kingmakers in the scientific community (Dawkins, Hawking, etc) all agree that there is no definitive evidence, and never will be definitive evidence disproving intelligent design.

You are wrong about that...and the fact that you can just blatantly mislead people like that makes me question your credibility.

  • @LivesForJihad I can't believe that you just accused me of misleading people when religion has been doing it WAY before I was born, I'll use the bible for reference but this can be applied to anything. The bible said the world was flat, it was wrong, the bible said the world is 4000 years old, Fossil records and carbon dating proved it wrong again, Bible said Sun revolves around the Earth... you see were I'm going here, and the Bible is supposed to be the word of God? I rest my case...

  • @RayKanen69 Do you know anything about the Bible? CLEARLY you are misinterpreting it.

    1. The bible does not teach the Earth is flat, but does use the statement "four corners of the Earth", a phrase that is still used today, which implies from "all over". You are misleading people.

    2. The bible does not preach the Sol rotating around the Earth. Instead, it is stated that the Earth is the Center of God's attention, but says nothing of rotation. You are misleading people.

    you are...WRONG!!!!!!!!

  • @LivesForJihad You are not just an idiot but you're a smart idiot, meaning you choose to be one. You KNOW what evidence is there, but you omit it for convenience. The devil tempted Jesus by taking him to "an exceeding high mountain" and showed him all the kingdoms of the world, tempting him. How else would you see all the kingdoms of the world if it WASN'T flat?

  • @LivesForJihad Ever since this bible bullshit was put to paper, priests and scribes have told everyone that the world is flat and all the heavenly bodies turn around the earth and this is because god made it so. The true knowledge of things only came to light when all were able to read for themselves so religious leaders are to blame for any false information and it was in their best interest to keep the masses ignorant. You cannot prove the existance of something if there is no proof for it.

  • @kanakaken Let's talk about The Temptation of Jesus on the Mt. The mountain in question is the 366 meter Mt. Quarantania.

Now...in the parable of temptation, it does not say anything about flat earth, only "to see all the kingdoms of the world in all their glory". When you climb mountains...things get very small...and lose their "glory" and detail, which suggest a psychological ploy by Satan, possibly a visually induced hallucination induced by Satan.

Where do you get "Flat Earth" from?

  • @LivesForJihad You really are an idiot, through choice or otherwise,,, to see all the kingdoms of the world, no matter how high the mountain, THE WORLD WOULD HAVE TO BE FLAT. Unfortunately I'm quite sure you will have trouble understanding that concept, as it require a modicum of logic, a rare commodity amongst religious nutters, not unlike you. Another bible myth is the flood, there is NO evidence of a world wide flood occuring, , single floods in many places but NOT worldwide.

  • @LivesForJihad You people really do make it up as you go along. Here we have god in all his glory in the guise of Jesus walking the earth and you are telling us that satan caused god/Jesus to hallucinate, seeing something that wasn't there? Also fool, when you climb a mountain, NOTHING gets small, just further away. You DO realize dont you, that when you hold your hand out at arms length, standing on a high peak and compareing your thumb to the size of a distant object, the object is bigger?

  • @kanakaken The funny thing is, all you have done is get mad, insult people and their values, and essentially claim that the bible says things that it does not.

I have already won this argument for these reasons.

But, to be fair, I will say this. The bible never explicitly says that the Earth is flat. Period. You lose. Although the context and narrative of the bible may be open to interpretation, it never clearly states the Earth is flat.

    Your point is invalid.

    You Lose.

    I win.

    U MAD?

  • @LivesForJihad Obviously, unbeknown to you, this is NOT a competition. I did NOT say the bible says the earth is flat, you said it. What I said was, a quote from the bible which you chose to ignore. That quote, through LOGIC, something to which I say again, you lack, says that the earth IS flat because it is impossible to see "all the kingdoms of the world" from the peak of a mountain no matter how high it may be. The ONLY way you would see "all the kingdoms of the world" is if it was flat.

  • @LivesForJihad I have another query for you. If you are an Islamist, why are you defending what is written in the bible? Are you defending the bible or merely using it as a reference? Why WOULD you use the bible as a reference instead of the Koran? You see I posed a number of questions before and you totally ignored them, either through ignorance or choice, I know not which, so I will not be suprised if you ignore these, being a religous nutter it's a part of your nature.

  • @kanakaken If I missed any of your questions, chances are it is Youtube's fault. They only really show one reply per video in my inbox, so I may have missed some of your questions.

As for my name...I am not Muslim. My name is a joke. I am, in fact, Christian.

  • @LivesForJihad I didn't realize that you look only at & reply only from your inbox. Whenever someone does a 'reply' to my post as you have just done, I receive an email with the reply & a link back to the video on which I post my comment initially. I go to that link in order to read in context, the reply just sent. That way if I misconstrued, I would pick it up. So go there & read from the bottom up. As to your name, if it is a joke, then it's way beyond my intellect,, you're too clever for me.

  • @RayKanen69 Well the guy is actually right no scientist has ever said that there is undeniable evidence that god doesn't exist though many have stated that there is no evidence that points that he does. As for the bible it is not a bad book if you read it there are quite many thing that one could learn from it (i have not read the whole thing just parts and i mean thing about ethics and the way you live and no i am not religious) and is a very interesting story book. The church misleads people...

  • Comment removed

  • @LivesForJihad You obviously don't know what Dawkins has said on the matter of "evidence". Stupid shit.

  • @hornerc1 why you feel the need to offence people? relax, it's just a topic.

And go try to live in russian province. You'll get it.

  • If you're a young atheist and you're thinking of "coming out", here's a good video:

    Young atheist be proud

    by OneProudAtheist

  • I am the biggest fan of George Carlin. This is genius, and I noticed that Carlin is talking about God as an actual being.

  • God really blessed America. You should live in ugly ass country like russia or armenia, to realize how blessed America is. All the great people leave their small ugly ass countries and liveing in america happilly ever after. List of yngwiemalmsteens, nabokovs and so on is too huge to post it here! old JC rules, btw.

  • @WyattCrow America sucks! The food was horrible when I went on vacation. So much fast food. I hated it. The only good thing about America is that the radio stations don't play the same fucking songs over and over again.

  • Comment removed

  • Jesus woulda said "whats america?"

  • What a loser.

  • @je25ff Your head is empty.

  • @fukinblowme haha, i wish i could like your comment at least one thousand times

  • As far as swearing on the bible i have no idea why, who or what that's all about...........however the hand guesture thing comes from medival Britain. In those days if someone stole, mudered or even lied they would iron brand the persons right palm with a letter representing what they were guilty for (L for liar). So if they ended up on trial again when raising their hand it was obvious to the judge if they were trustworthy or not.

    RIP Carlin, awesome guy.

  • @ryanwallace84 so, like most of our modern day rituals, its completely irrelevant and continued unthinkingly by braindead people.

  • "What would Jesus do? They don't want to know so they can do it, they want to know so they can tell other people to do it"

  • He's right to a great extent, some parts I think he went a little off to an extreme for the sake of getting a better joke in. Brilliant man, however, rest in peace.

  • Ahhh I just love hearing people spew hate. Rot In Piece.

  • @AllShallPerish50 If you're not a troll I feel sorry for you :D. He is making people laugh...SOOOOO its for a good cause!

  • @AllShallPerish50 making people think is the opposite of spewing hate.

  • Rationality.....

Can't help being a sucker for it.

  • In the beginning man created "god" in his own imagination.

  • sheer brilliance... a true mastermind...

  • @ElectronicoReload I agree 100%!!! This man was funny, but more than that, he was an intellectual.

  • That would be cool...everyone..."pants on the ground" ...LMAO

  • Maybe it's because we are the greatest force for freedom in the world.

Look at the countries we have influenced towards freedom and those we have not.

  • @BriansVideoHobby Please......please stop!! Should we start with the History of America, you know, where the europeans come over and slaughter all the original American Indians that were living here for thousands of years....this may be a bit heavy for you, but isnt God the one who said thou shalt not kill? hmmmm.....kind of doesnt add up, does it..put your flag in the closet.........

  • @migo53333 America has done some bad things, no doubt. Of course they are barely footnotes in history compared to what European and Asian countries have done. We have far outweighed our mistakes with the good we do every day. Almost every free nation in the world owes it's freedom to America in some manner. Our government gives more than the next three nations COMBINED. On top of that our people donate more to charities than all governments in the world COMBINED. My flag is proudly flying.

  • @BriansVideoHobby America is still doing bad things.......and they are for corporate interest....your statement is way too cut and dry.....answer me this, if we are in afghanistan to promote freedom to the people why do we have sattelites analyzing (as we speak) the varios natural resources that are under the afghanistan terrain???? hmmmm now why would we have any interest in that???? it doesnt even belong to us.......makes me wonder....

  • @BriansVideoHobby America fights wars and gives foreign aid to further its own economic and politcal interests. These things are never done because the American Government actually cares. America's Government doesn't even care about its own people. New Orleans, the housing crisis, unemployment, unaffordable health care, outsourcing labor, illegal immigration, filthy run down cities, poor education and little to no action on the part of its great Patriots in office. Burn your flag.

  • @BriansVideoHobby "Maybe it's because we are the greatest force for freedom in the world."

I've seen what happens to the countries America brings "freedom" too. Do the world a favor - kept it to yourselves.

  • @TheHigherVoltage stupid americans

  • @TheHigherVoltage Grow up

  • @heather78usn "Grow up"

The brand of 'freedom' America practices and exports is pretty close to the opposite of what the word actually means. Grown ups don't play make believe.

  • Love this man

  • @TheHigherVoltage American here who agrees with you 100%.

  • 62 people probably think Jesus was an American white man.

  • Cheeseus Christ. :)

  • So ...... , 61 voted bad . I would like to hear their arguments why . I bet they are dumb redneck religious fruit cakes .

  • @resistance0311 When the hell did a "redneck religious fruit cake" become a stereotype?!

  • @00marcus1

I travel across the country and I notice that the most radical - religious people live in south and mostly they are rednecks . And if you talk to those people , they are usually very ignorant .

  • @resistance0311 I have an issue more with the term 'fruit cake' than redneck. How many of these 'religious rednecks' you have met happen to be gay, may I ask? Call me ignorant then, but if you're going to stereotype, then shouldn't you at least stereotype a view that is held by, you know, someone? This is all assuming, of course, that you're not using 'fruit cake' as a go-to generic insult for anything you don't agree with, because THAT would be ignorant.

  • Religon is a cute idea, but it has absolutly no

Math and no fact to suport its exgaturated claims. Science is a complicated idea but it can be prooven with math and facts. So basically since you only live once, either live a life full of delusion or live a life full of hard arithmatics. I say fuck both just do what carlin did and make fun of everyone an enjoy the show folks :)

  • Hell yeah religion is bullshit.

Then again so is atheism. :)

So you're just choosing between two piles of bullshit.

Pick one which fits you best.

  • @Epicentr it's funny though because religion didn't stop people from being enslaved, discriminated against, or killed at all. you are just a fucking idiot

  • The hat thing comes from the medieval time when taking off your helmet meant that you came in peace. In those ages a mistake like keeping your hat on could start wars.

  • love it more

  • God made up.......He's doesn't give a fuck

  • love it

  • religion was created to keep the poor from murdering the rich

  • if you use your brain, you won't think of the non-existent god

  • Love it! Carlin always speaks the truth!

  • the funny thing is god does not exist

  • god bless the world :-)

  • hey funny thing is i say god bless all the time but i don't believe in god know why i say it ? cause its a fucking word lol

  • how can something be both chinese and braille?!

  • @sworly Um, chinese people can be blind too. There is such a thing as Chinese braille. Stuff like braille and sign language are not limited to the English language.

  • Although he was a great comedian, i must point out that Transilvania is a country as much as California, Texas,or any other state part of the US.

  • @radu0 The Suez Canal and the North Pole aren't countries either. What's your point? You've missed Carlin's, anyway.

  • @Freakears No i didn't

  • "...Suppose they hand you an upside-down backward chinese braille bible with half the pages missing..."

    LOL

  • @MaximumGKB8 Right.. Why else send his only son to die.. I mean it seems really crazy that GOD, the all powerful, all knowing, being that can do anything, has to make a son, through a virgin, and have him perform a parlor trick so he can forgive everyone of all the bad things they do. Why not just go, you know what.. Im god.. Im above all this petty stuff, your all forgiven. But what ever.

  • @MaximumGKB8 What drugs are you taking?

  • A mind before its time, fuck it. Most people a too fucking dumb to understand his edge, the ones that do make my life worth living... as if there's a choice.

  • im a christian and god is not on americas side, a nation that is responsible for more innocent deaths in the last 100 years than any other empre in history is not exersising jesus's teaching,

  • @mik0logy "more innocent deaths in the last 100 years than any other empire in history" hahahah have you ever heard of HItler? Hirohito? Genghis Kahn? Napoleon?

  • @seanmassie16 >mfw Hitler lived in the last 100 years, and his empire lasted a short decade, and so yes there were "more innocent deaths in the last 100 years than any other empire in history" at the hands of the US, save for maybe last-century china. I'm not sure you have an idea of how few people were alive when Genghis Khan lived. Napoleon had a bare fraction of the US military and none of the weaponry.

  • @Iced1992 newfag

  • @mik0logy yeah i agreed

  • Love ya George. See ya in hell.

  • Made some great points.

  • 56 brainwashed idiots believe that god, or a god is or was on their side! Lmfao! Keep it up you misfits, we need figures of comical value like you around!

  • life is all make believe.

  • whoever dislike this video are fucken retards he is soo right and it just shows how stupid the people in our country and the world are

  • Comment removed

  • where is this god?

  • @ExcellingInfidel No where.

  • @TheCuppycakedelight5 Retarded hillbilly who happened to get a computer or as you probably say it "Puyrt ga-ha-ah-ha". God doesn't exist.

  • @razorath92 god does exist, in time we'll see. he loves you.

  • @TheCuppycakedelight5 He loves you and he needs MONEY!!!

  • @DebbieinNH He doesn't need our money, tithes and offerings show that we trust Him and that we're returning what's already His. It shows our Gratitude

  • Dang this guy is speaking reality...wish I came across him earlier. But thank god for Youtube...or should that be Google lol.

  • Sikhs don't wear a TALL WHITE turban, they're nice and compact and usually come in assorted colors. (I sound like I'm selling turbans lol)

  • 18 delicious flavors of clasic rice-roni! haha

  • 51 people are too stupid to listen to reason.

Thank you, Mr. Carlin, for laying out some actual logic and showing how "God bless America" is really meaningless!

  • @BuayaGuy now it's 63 stupid people

  • Hahhaha yes

  • @spearonez

Where did I say I am anti- military ? I am anti patriotism in general. I support American war on Afghanistan because that was justice. Be rational, not a sheep.

  • Fuck america, douchebag losers...
