Awesome batrep. I kind of like the ending "oops, left out the ending, don't worry Brets won!" (I am a Bret player.) I'm wondering if you spliced in that ending to protect our feelings. (Just kidding, you take your losses graciously, I just thought it would make a funny story.)

@DaveVonCarstein One the first turn his DOgres charged, he thought about sliding them over after combat, but decided to keep room free for his chaos knights to charge in next time. After the M@A charged his DOgres, he kept on losing combat and failing his leadership test to reform.

I also thought the dragon ogres would have moved slightly to get back in contact with the knight unit al la p.61 of the rules. But I also find that whole page confusing.

@meows0r I built the great taurus from the body of a hydra, head of a minotaur, plus wings. I'm pretty happy with it.

The Virtue of Heroism cannot be used with a magical weapon. Has this changed?

@57rifleman yes it has changed.  The brettonian update says change to "the knight has the heroic killing blow special rule.

oooO Wargods Wendigo minis, nice to see those, excellent figures. I enjoyed this game a lot. Using Storm of Magic composition to get monsters ends up being pretty much like older editions of WH, back when you could buy additional monsters - this idea gets my thumbs up.

Hope you play more games like this, I think it adds a bit more unpredictable fun and like you said, makes a change from the usual troops you generally bring along.

@Cifrodelli They are old Wood Elf models - I usually use them for my skirmishing bowmen
