I just hope someone will upload the whole movie. I could not find the movie anywhere not even on ebay. This's very memorable film for me. I was in high school when I first watched it in theatre with my first love in 1976

i just can't believe she forgave him that quite easily! he fucks another girl, then he says "i love you" and eyerything is fine again?! WTF?! i would have kicked his ass out of the fucking house! Barbra, I'm really disappointed!

@alkabayoest i know it's just a movie. but in my opinion it doesn't fit in Barbra's character! she's very ambitious and tough here, so why does she forgive him that fast?! i know she loves him but i think she should have wait more time to make him think about that! so i think the script was written a little bit unreliable..

Just to clarify, I meant to say that Barbra Streisand and Kris Kristofferson reportedly hated each other in real life. They got into a notorious fight and public. And I think I remember reading that they previously dated before doing this movie together. But, they were not on good terms while doing A Star is Born. you would never know it because the chemistry betweent them was off the charts in this film.

@TheHibye65 I had never heard they hated each other. It's surprising to know :o But have you seen the Oprah Show ep with Barbra, Nov. 10th 2010? It did not seem like they were still bad with each other...

@mariecordeiro1 I didn't see them on Oprah together. I hope they are on good terms now. I read about how they hated each other in an article about famous on screen couples that actually despised each other in real life. Another couple was Richard Gere and Debra Winger in "An Officer and a Gentleman." I really admire the fact that Kris and Barbra didn't let their dislike for each other get in the way of their performances.

@TheHibye65 They weren't both on Oprah. That last episode of hers with Barbra, where she also got Robert Redford there, she made a little clip to show Barbra where she had recently asked the men she had made movies with to talk about her, and there were some there, talking good about her of course, and one of them was Kris. And he refered that. That they didn't get along at all before the movie but then they trusted their instints and did it together and now they're good :)

@TheHibye65 There are many people that do not enjoy working with Barbra. Nick Nolte, Jeff Bridges, James Caan, Kris K., etc. She is apparently very demanding and unpleasant. On 'The Mirror Has Two Faces,' she fired Dudley Moore for having trouble remembering some of his lines and it turned out he had PSP, which eventually killed him. That move alone lost her a lot of respect in Hollywood.

BTW, you can add Billy Crystal and Meg Ryan to the list of movie couples that did not get along.

@jksonny I've heard a little bit about Barbra's history of being difficult. But, I wasn't aware she didn't get along with so many of her co-stars.The Dudley Moore thing is shocking. I also didn't know Meg Ryan and Billy Crystal didn't get along. Do you know why they didn't like each other?

@TheHibye65 I don't know why Crystal and Ryan didn't get along but their dislike for each other was supposedly pretty intense. They apparently weren't speaking to one another during much of the filming for 'When Harry Met Sally.'

@jksonny That's so interesting. I would love to find out why Meg Ryan and Billy Crystal didn't like each other. Perhaps their personalites and acting styles were too different. I remember Billy Crystal saying during the scene in the museum when he adopts that strange voice, the reason Meg looks to the side is because she's staring at the director to see if she should continue with the scene. Thanks for the info on them.

@TheHibye65 That's a good guess. Some actors get very thrown when their co-stars improvise and they don't like it. But, who knows?

@jksonny she had no choice but to fire him, it was not known that he had PSP yet but it was holding up production and she hired another co star she worked with b4 George Seigal to take his place which he was happy to do, she also worked with Ryan O'neal twice, Robert Deniro twice , Dustin Hoffman twice, Blyth Danner 3 times, she is not difficult she is a hard working get the job done perfectionest, if she were a man she would be called a hard worker
