@09bnunez "the founder of rock and roll,, chuck is the iventor of r&r...." Examples of guitar rock and roll before Chuck began recording for Chess are "We're Gonna Rock This Joint" by the Jackson Brothers '52, "Cherry Wine" by Jimmy Lewis '52, "Move On Down The Line" by Earl Hooker '53, "Funny Face" by Earl King '54, "Do Unto Others" by Pee Wee Crayton '54, "Twenty-Five Lies" by Guitar Slim '54, "Rock Around The Clock" by Bill Haley '54, "Space Guitar" by Johnny Watson '54.
Love how my comment was removed for being a fan of the song and giving prospective to the fact that some of us young people have it right. But adults can knock us for the fact that some of us have horrid taste in music. Hippocratic people....tis what makes this world.
volkscom, My wheels was a green '49 Studebaker. Some of the girls, the bobbysoxers, had a hi-fi, but us guys didn't stay home enough to think of buying one. In our cars, we listened to WLAC from Gallatin, Tennessee, and went to places where there was a jukebox. What a shame everyone didn't have the opportunity to live during those years. "American Graffiti" expressed it pretty well. However, in small town Alabama, we didn't play "chicken". We weren't that dumb.
The first rock and roll song I remember clearly was "Hearts of Stone" by the Charms. Then came Ray Charles with "I Got a Woman", Fats with "Ain't That a Shame", and Little Richard with "Long Tall Sally". I loved Chuck's songs, but they were not good bopping songs. Jimmy Reed had the best bopping.

@MsRandomPro It's not about "not being able to find music for yourself". Anybody with half a brain can do that, and it's nothing to be particularly proud of.
You have to remember that this music is even before the time of the PARENTS of kids today, let alone the kids themselves.
You should be glad that there are movies and video games that feature great music from a half century ago. Otherwise, it'd be largely forgotten, because there's just SO MUCH good music to wade through.

@paulinus43ad Don't you dare even attempt to dis Tarantino. Show some respect as I do for both Chuck and him. If Pup Fiction is what brought people here. Then good for them for coming here due to their good taste in music, leave them alone for fucks sake!
