The 3/8" coils on the outside of the burner tube are just for the steam used by the burner and lift pump. The secondary burner section, or actually the real steam generator section the 1/2" copper coils are inside the burner but I think I need more length to get enough surface area for greater steam output.

Maybe put the tubes inside the firebox rather than on the outside.Might help
