I really enjoyed this. Vocals were inspired, drum tone fit with the compressed guitars and bass was just enough. Previous comments compared this to early 2k punk and it's a valid comparison. It just shows that you are in touch with an era of punk that preceded what we have now. Really neat!

@TheAxeMixa this girl dosen't have an accent, and i'm not saying shes a bad singer, she's quite good, but some people just don't fit, you could put freddie mercury singing ramones songs and he'd sound shit, this falls into the same category, it just dosen't have the spirt of punk, it isnt agressive or angry, sex has nothing to do with it, find me a girl that sings like joey ramone and i don't mind, its just girls have a tendency to sound like girls and hence don't fit punk,

@A2Z83 The Punk Rock movement was (and is) a revolt against the suppression of individualism and free speech. Everyone has the right to put what they want into their own bodies, say what they want, work where they want on what they want, etc. Many people took these ideals, and in true idiot fashion, assumed that this meant that petty insults and a "fuck the system" attitude aimed blindly at society would somehow illicit the freedoms they feel were taken from them.

That is exactly the kind of thinking the Punk Rock movement initially intended to snuff out. It instead was misinterpreted. My point is, in being petty, you aren't being "punk". So trying to excuse your disrespect with "It's a punk rock comment section" is futile in its justification.

And also we're talking about Punk who gives a flying fuck about hitting the charts. CRASS never had one hit and yet they're considered one of the most influential bands in the genre, they started an entire sub-genre for fucks sake. Listen to the song Bloody Revolutions and tell me the female singer on that doesn't have attitude.

Poly Styrene was punk and very high-pitched. I guess I should also add that "rugged background music" is not a requirement in punk, either, as is the case with Styrene's band's sound. @jitkasuarez Statistics don't lie, therefore I am correct. When put up against male artists of the same genre, ALL female rockers receive considerably low reviews in comparison. Female artists simply don't appeal to men when it comes to Rock.
