No, DC's got an insane amount of characters. It's that most of them take a bit more comics knowledge or wouldn't translate very well to MK. Shiva Wu San, Richard Dragon, or Green Arrow 2 would probably translate pretty well, but they aren't A-listers.

Mortal kombat was only the best when it was in 2D, as soon as they tried to make it 3D the controls started to suck so I can see why they are trying to do something different. Why DC Universe? Most likely because DC Universe belongs to an American company (Marvel) unlike SF or Takken. I am sure this fact would complicate the process of making the game by much.

Mortal Kombat is by far one of the worst fighters out and it shows. Theres a reason it doesn't sell as well as it use to, and the reviews are bad. This game is alright but not as much depth as SF, Tekken, Soul Calibur, or Virtua Fighter.

Messed up the last MK games? They weren't amazing but none of them bombed with critics either. Compared to the MK games of old, Mk vs DC has added enough new content yet also maintained the classic formula, which, if they changed it, would be criticized for being too different. And Tekken has essentially stayed the same game for 6 titles. I lost interest around Tekken 4. But I'll still try Tekken 6. I'LL GIVE IT A CHANCE BEFORE I CONDEMN IT.

It's cool with no blood, b/c most of the DC Universe's audience are minors and we're very much aware of that. As far as gameplay is concerned, I dont think it would suck as much as people think it would. I like the idea of the Free-fall kombat and the signs of damage that a player takes during a fight (torn pieces of clothing, bruises, etc), so I wont judge it until I play it.
