It seems that the unquestioned assumption that the suffering of other species cannot be taken seriously is therefore a form of prejudice ("speciesism").

And considering the amount of pain we inflict on nonhuman animals for trivial reasons, there are good arguments for the position that supporting our current use of other animals for food us unethical. These vegetarian groups are way ahead of their time.

And oh my god! Soy yogurt!!? That's so very toxic. I still can't believe people jumping on the soy bandwagon. A short few years ago people started eating it and then calling it a health food to make money. So TOXIC! I'd rather do drugs than consume such a poison.

After all these zillions of years of eating meat as man naturally has since his beginning, this wouldn't cause a spontaneous mind change as that. Sure, things like fast food are bad so I wouldn't even count that as meat. I'm talking about natural meat without sauces, additives, flavorings, preservatives, overcooking, frying in toxic vegetable oils, etc.
