For the most part I try to be productive when commenting on beginner's videos because I too am a beginner and I know starting off is hard, but when they act arrogantly, like trying to teach others, I don't give them such a kind audience or response.
Well there's your problem dumbass, name it "jumping for fun", not free-running basics with the video formatted in a tutorial style. Because from the looks of it you don't do parkour for fun, you do random jumping things for fun that you think are cool, so name it as such and you won't get the flaming.
And as i just said, if you had named it appropriately none of this would have happened. Just a thought for future videos. I'm done commenting on this video now, you can return to thinking whatever you want.
Not once did I say I was pro at parkour, all I said is this guy isn't good at it, and therefore shouldn't be attempting to teach others. It's like a 1st grader trying to teach somebody calculus, it just doesn't work that way. Now you're going to say how can you judge if you aren't good? But movie critics aren't great film makers,
it doesn't take being a professional to see flaws, especially when they are so blatantly obvious as this. And free-running wasn't called this to be "free" it was made separate from parkour to separate flashy fancy things and the most fluid or efficient way of doing things. Just because I am trying the more advanced/dangerous things doesn't mean I didn't put a lot of time into practicinge the little things, you just can't see it because I didn't post stupid videos of
me trying a monkey vault for the first time (and then trying to explain it to people). And if you are referring to my fall at the end of the video, even the best traceurs make mistakes, have you see David Belle mess up and fall like 8 feet to the ground on the monkey to a gap? (don't mistake this for me calling myself a professional I'm just explaining that practice doesn't completely eliminate your chances of messing up).
