She got new furniture and a washer and dryer through the rent a center rent to own program. She has two cars, only uses one. I spoke at length to an American yesterday. He works a technical job for financial services clients, so he is fully employed and busy. His answer was to the effect, oh, QE3, more money printed up. But I think people will stop getting their monthly checks in favor of paying the military.

@yaplonglong I have a decades-long bg in trends analysis, particularly in fin'l mkts. This is just what I come up with time & again, doing my own research. I called the crashes of '87 & '08. Got a lot of ridicule both times. I've been a registered rep in the USA & here in Europe was a research specialist in Asian markets. I'm a former member in good standing of NASD, & have had double digit total returns since '07. Still get nice holiday cards from some of my former clients in the US.

Neverthelss - I think Empire usually last longer in its final demise; and the process is protrcated and drawn out. Finally an empire does not give up without a final monstrous struggle. Dude America is coming to an end as we know it. Militarliy- we will lose strength because of our Ecnomic problems. The debt is acumulating and will pass our GDP. The interest on debt is also increasing. Culturally- our traditions and culture is dyng out fast read the new census!

no one in this country cares,as long as they can get drunk watch tv have partys go clubbin,go to the malls blow money get in debt get there nails and hair done spend hundreds on makeup,go golfin on and on.nobody cares at all.i feel bad for those who arnt prepared to feed there kids for more than a week and not be able to give water to the kids after a couple days.its sad.no one listens to me.told my friend i cant believe were in libya now,he said dude to free the people.tv brianwashes everyone.

@18wheeler76 One of my tenants is always complaining that she never has enough money. The old furniture she moved in with her was good enough. She got new furniture and a washer and dryer through the rent a center rent to own program. She has two cars, only uses one. Both are registered and have current inspections as required by the tenancy rules. She should get rid of one car. She has cable, high speed internet, eats out a lot and gets pizza delivery. She ain't gonna like what's a comin'.

@18wheeler76 That is what I was saying. I was only 10 when I tried to discuss with my parents the fact that they were living for today and not doing any planning. That year, I also spotted the Monsanto exhibit in the American Pavillion at Expo '67, the only corporation with a presence there. I thought, HUH? It was a cheap, sexist display, too, feh! Your grammar is bad but I think your message is good. I never had kids, knowing that would be unfair to them. Sad, but necessary.

It is so frustrating and seems like a battle not worth fighting, but I continue to use the same social networking the sheep are using all day to make the truth available hoping that just a one or two of them will wake up from it. And believe me, a few have. They won't talk about it openly yet, but they are looking. As we all know, when we first see what's happening out there its easier to stick our heads back in the sand, but for some the truth can't be ignored.
