@MartialDuartist By your logic a Miranda warning would be go like this: 'You have a right to remain silent. Anything YOU DO NOT SAY may be used against you in a court of law. ... etc' Only, that isn't currently US law.
@MartialDuartist By saying, "No, I don't know of any violence being planned against any person or property," that could be construed in a way that lets the FBI know that she would know about such things and they would come back anyway. Also, if she says no, and they can prove in court that she was in a place where should could've overheard someone saying that they were going to start some violence, she could be charged with conspiracy. So pleading the 5th is a way of protecting yourself.

The *ONLY* think to say to these people is "I have nothing to say." No matter what they ask, or state, you only reply "I have nothing to say."
Every word is calculated to get you to say something they want to hear.
I have nothing to say.

Wait, but "why" wouldn't she just say "No, I don't know of any violence being planned against any person or property." ?
By remaining silent, it creates the suspicion that she may indeed know, about such a thing.
What was the point of being silent; just to basically say "fuck you" to the FBI?
In that case, now they have more reason to bother her; it's kind of a provocation.
Enlighten me...
