@X2ride4evaX Thanks Jenny, this video was two years ago, Kiri and Oliver are getting better and going up the grades. Unfortunately Kiri is now getting big and I'm not sure how much longer before we have to buy her another horse. She's now riding Sonny and it's going well.

@BootsANDSpider Im helping my old trainer train a four year old pony. she is a very wild one. but the wierd think is she is a strictly english pony but if you put any contact on her reins, she throws her head. she is strictly a leg pony. and she is very consistent in the walk jog and lope. even with the loose rein you would think she would try to take advantage and take off but she doesnt even try to.

Wow. That horse is so well trained ;D My stallion colt would never put up with kids on his back. (He doesn't put up with anyone but me XD) He's a Palimino too, but he's much lighter than Oliver. And he has overo paint marking on his legs <3

No at this time, Kiri hadn't been in the saddle long, only like 8 months in total, we had EI which put us out for 4 months and then she broke her arm, which nearly finished her career before she started. This was taken not long after she started to get her confidence back.

Aw for a beginner shes doing great you must be so proud. Though i think having such a spirit and strong pony is helping her out alot. She got a good little sit and seems to keep her head realy balanced only issues i saw was watching her legs slightly and not to have the pony bend to deep he got behind the bit a few times and shes got to watch not going into canter whilst posting in a trot. Hes got gorgiouse paces though and a lovely head and coat. They make a great team and will go far.

Thanks for your kind comments, yes still lots to learn, Oliver is not quite 4 yet and he has only ever been ridden by the breaker and Kiri, I'm too big to tune him up! My girlfriend came over the other day to tune him up, he's having a few problems but that's what you get with a green rider and green horse. I'm just so happy with his attitude, he loves to please and at this stage, no dirt! Just needs more time to improve.

Aw yes for sure if one of the horses wont get up and keeps focusing on their stummach i pull them up and walk them i never take any chances with any kind of sings no matter how weak as mild as some colic can be its always been one of the most scariest things to me personally anyways.

Well if neither of them liked it yes that does make it slightly more suspiciouse. Have you used that suplier before or was it the first time then. If you have perhaps it was just and of batch or something right who knows.

All three didn't like it! No I hadn't used that grower before, my grower had run out till next week or two. I was totally out and my girlfriend bought some with me yesterday. Her horses at her hay, so I don't know, but I didn't like the smell either. I'm glad he's going to take them back, I spent too much money.
