ur nana helped you in the afterlife to feel better. They dont have the same earth bound worries then. I tend to think we are the ones in hell, we (well, most of us) graduate to a higher plane of existance, an enlightened place when we die. There DEF is an afterlife, so... pretty abstract thinking ey? lol
@sleekcartim being definite about things u can't ever know in this life is either blind faith, faith, or bullshit. i'd like to think faith was less of a guess that exists purely to comfort us. there is a peace to be found minus comfort. there is no comfort in knowing you are going to die, the peace arises from accepting the golden life inside us and treasuring what it shares with us. my only faith is in the living and their wonderful intentions.
greetings Gina from one of your new-ish fans in Canada. i love ur vids and & realness. my wife has health problems so i think about death seriously & kinda regularly, not every day but it's always in the back of my mind, i try not 2 think too hard or too long about it cuz it scares me; i've never lost anyone i love to death yet and i know i'll be a wreck when it happens. but thinking bout death is important cuz it reminds me 2 appreciate the hell out of every moment & not take ppl 4 granted.
@superotter77 i've informed my wife we have 2 die together cuz i cannot stand the thought of burying her or leaving her & having her bury me, so we gotta die together. life is short & it's all about our relations & connections w/ others, so my first & foremost priority in this life is to have GOOD relations, authentic, healthy, meaningful connections. i'm a work in progress, have come a long way & have a long way 2 go. eternal connection must exist cuz our Spirits r bigger than the physical..
I know you're talking about death and deep stuff, but I stopped listening after you denied us a view of your butt. I KID i kid. Very interesting topic and great vid! That was an interesting story about the mausoleum and whether or not loved ones need a place to go to feel close to you after you leave.
Fascinating topic! I just want to go quick and without any pain. I won't care what happens after that... If anyone remembers me when I'm gone I don't want there to be any guilt. I only want people to have fond memories if they knew me.
This is why funerals and graves are so popular. You can be cremated and buried in the cemetery. (my sister is) Thanks for doing this. I am loving all the comments too.
You talk about the guilt over your Nana's death. I have tremendous guilt over my Mom and Dad's deaths. I just wish I could have done more for them, though realistically I think I did as much as I could. I wish I could talk to them again. I do talk to them every day in my own way. I believe there is an energy in us, someone called it our 'electricity', maybe it's our soul. I think this energy travels when we die. Maybe it returns as a new life, or joins the energy of those who went before us.
@photo2010 I have the feeling that your folks felt a tremendous amount of love from you. My guess is that they both were very proud that you are their son. xoxo
@ItalianStallionette Thank you Gina. Btw, I wanted to add, I think about death at least once a day too. It may have to do with my age, and having many friends and relatives pass in the last several years. Don't feel it's weird to think about it. hugs xoxo
Some say living is the hard part, dyeing is easy, I figure the older you get the more you think about death, seems it's sad when a person has to take pills just to stay alive
@ItalianStallionette FYI If you know anyone having issues with kidney stones, tell them to try herbal remedy chanca piedra. It disolved my stones in like a few hours! modern western medicine doesnt have all the answers.
Since my daughter graduated from there May 2006. If they do not need it then my daughters are to have me cremated and divide my ashes in half; with half going to the beach and the half to the mountains. The other family members area aware what is planned as well. There would be a memorial service here for family and friends.
@billyinc1 It sounds like you have a good plan actually. I like the idea of the mountains and the beach. There is a special place for me that I have gone to throughout my life. It's Mission Bay. Maybe that would be a good place.
Nice Video Gina; I was wondering is there something wrong with Your tail since You did not want us to see it?
That is a good question Susan sent You and as You said it is something we will all do at some point. I am with You as far as not being concerned about death I know it is a fact of life period that is unavoidable. I am have decided that after death I will donate my body to Creighton Medical School.
u r so real about things, and that makes you so inspirational! Thank you!

@teamcrumb i guess peace comes when we wake up inside our own pain and we know its not our priority because we still feel golden.

@teamcrumb There is overwhelming proof of an afterlife. deal with it.

That's great, Gina. People tend to think that dying is the hard part. Its not. Its leaving the people you love behind that's hard.
