But stating they hacked the staples easy button to say something else and giving YOU the way to do it that they came up with isn't an issue in the slightest. If you're going to go correct people, at least have the courtesy to be correct.

The only rights Staples has is to "a red button that says 'easy' in white text, that which pushed plays a sound file saying 'that was easy'." Even then, that's a trademark, not a copyright. Copyright can only cover the sound file the button plays, not the idea of the button itself. The button is patented. The image and use of the button is trademarked. This button is different.
