  • Nice to finally hear this piece played note 4 note,,no faking or improvising, or Razzle-Dazzle. And very spare use of pedal. Not as eleborately written as his later rags. Doesn't matter, still one of his best. But my favorite Lamb rags are still American Beauty, & the lovely, underrated, Ethiopia Rag, one of the most beautiful Rags ever written. (I say that about Scott Joplin's "Solace" too) I play most of Lambs Rags. Love tham all.

  • Along with George L. Cobb, Joseph F. Lamb is my favorite ragtime composer. Well early ragtime composers, anyways. My favorite modern-day composer is Larisa Migachyov (who's a huge fan of Joseph Lamb!).

  • This should be called "Better Than Champagne" rag.

  • I'm learning this right now!! I absolutely love it!

  • great song! can play it on the piano ;)

  • Bravo Joseph Lamb !!!!!!!!
