If those of you only knew the geography under the water at Devil's Pool, you wouldn't be so needlessly paranoid and insulting of those who take this very low risk adventure. It is very difficult to mistakenly go over the edge at Devil's Pool, especially at low river flow. It is possible, just not likely due to the wall at the edge. There's almost always guides at the edge to prevent & discourage getting too close. It's really not nearly as risky as it appears. At high flow, nobody does this.

You can look this up, there's a rock there under the water and notice how shallow it is. That last guy was almost entirely above the water. It looks like your sitting on the edge of a huge waterfall, and you are, but really you are sitting in a few inches of water so the current is probably not very strong. A highway is more dangerous!
