The one thing I remember from her autobiography is that she suspected all the Diet Coke she drank to stay thin might have contributed to her ovarian cancer.

Yes it's true the sucourse sugar used has been linked to cause cancer, they have changed sugars since then.

I was a post-adolescent in my early 20's when she died. It was so damn surreal. She was such a part of the American landscape when she was snatched up. I think all the "Boomers" were in mourning that entire month. She was an icon and has been sadly missed. RIP, Gilda.

Dr. Evil is NOT based on Lorne Michaels...he's a compilation of James Bond villains...Mike Myers has stated this on record several times!!!

she was sooooo funny and had sooo much fun with what she did and had such a great personality and was bubbly and spunky i never got to see her on tv since i was not born but i wish i had!!!!!
