  • If we get Matt Kalil then AD (it's not AP) should be able to pick up right where he left off.

  • I partially blame Roger Goodell. If he would allow hits like they used to, people wouldn't be aiming for the knees.

  • @stphn62485 you are a dumbass.

  • I recently had an ACL tear, worst feeling in the world. The bad thing is that he won't be the Adrian Peterson we all knew, he'll come back but not the same.

  • sad thing about running backs, short careers for most.

  • He is a atheltic freak he will come back from it fine ..people are stupid his career isnt over

  • come back! please! Adrian Peterson is the god of running back!

  • redskins always hurt a star player every year smh

  • its a horrible injury, but these days with modern medicine and a little luck, he can come back

  • horrible injury. get well soon ap. best running back in the game.

it was just a matter of time till this happened cause when u are a RB and ur teams only weapon up offense u r going to be tackled hard.

  • ahhhhh when he comes back, mafuckas better run and hide....

  • haha. He is still in his prime boys. if he wasn't back next season (which he will be) then he would defiantly be back the next.

  • it was prolly a deep sprain...AP wasn't rolling around crying from it. What possible gain would the vikings have leaving their 100 million dollar running back out on the field for a dying season...They fake these injuries so the vikings have a shot next year...throw a knee brace on him he will better then next year.

  • @biglamb actually if you watch other videos you can clearly see his knee twisted off to the side!!! he completely tore his ACL and maybe his MCL i cant remember!!! anyways he will be back! i mean he is a beast!

  • turns me onnnnmnnnnnnnnnn

  • anyone remember the injury that happened to amar'è stoudemire some years ago? everybody said that he would never been the same, but he recovered and now it seems like he never had any injury..well the same could happen to Adrian Peterson

  • Dejon Gomes... NFL watch out.

  • At least he didn't take an ARROW to the knee

  • @NeoOsiris19 I know what your saying he will probably come back but he'll never be the same that injury will always hold him back from his full potential

  • If a 34 year old Tom Brady can recover from a nasty knee injury, no doubt AP will. You people are dumb, no ones a harder worker and better athlete then him in any professional sport.

  • @NeoOsiris19 How can you compare Tom pretty boy Brady to AP, Brady never gets hit due to that amazing O-Line. He is a QB, the pussy rule of being unable to hit QBs in the legs was created because of Brady tearing his ACL, now no one can aim to his legs, he barely moves around the pocket, he uses his knees basically to stand up. AP is a running back that gets 20+ carries a game and is a violent runner who relies on his knees, there is no rule that states you cant hit a RB in the legs

  • I'm just thankful that my son has someone like Adrian Peterson to look up to. We wish him a speedy recovery. Thanks for your program you started with your "Football for Good". We could only wish their were more players like Adrian Peterson out there.

  • He better watch out or hes gonna break his neck w/ Stevie Wonder driving him off the field

  • he knew what he did the look on his face was of a man that just saw his career flash between his eyes. i hope he heals ok and its not career ending

  • What?.. Adrian Peterson is a human?..

  • did i really just read a comment that said trade adrian peterson whose not 28 hes 26 and many rbs have played at 28 and done super good do u know what ur talking about kid. Trade Jared Allen he didnt have 22 sacks this year did he??? and 30 isnt old for a defensive end dude have some knowledge.

  • i too used to be a good running back... then i took an arrow to the knee

  • I used to ge a good running back... but then i took a helmet to the knee

  • Adrian will come back stronger than ever due to his work ethic and determination

  • There are surgeries that take much longer to recover from but allow your joints and tendons to perform just as well as before the injury, I mean just as well. If theres any drop off it will be from the recovery time, Adrian's hunger will carry him to be even better than this year. This, I bet money on.

  • they said that Adrian will hav surgery in weeks notice. Also, it will be hard, even for an athlete like Peterson, to make a comeback to his original state

  • @ooroorooroor even so, if he isnt exactly like he used to be he will still be a great running back

  • @ooroorooroor no... acl mcl tears arnt what they used to be, it happens all the time, just this year jammal charles eric berry and him all got it, it doesnt really slow you down, just look at people like willis mcgahee and wes welker, it hasnt slowed them down, he will still be the best running back in football when he returns in 9 months.

  • Thats why I hate ppl who dive for the legs. Go for the thighs and hips. Why do they aim lower?

  • @BlackiDaIraqi1 dude, your coach teaches u to go for the legs. if u go any higher its harder to tackle...

  • @ooroorooroor I know man ur right...i guess its just football people are going to get injured no matter what

  • He will play probably middle of the season next year. I think they will try to get Percy Harvin involved more in the passing game and some additional carries now that Peterson went down, he is their only real playmaker

  • Just think, if he were allowed to use HGH, he could keep playing.

  • Cant help but think of Bo Jackson when I see this..

  • He has a long time to recover, so its like a 90% chance that he will play next year

  • @jjf11111 exactly, he should be fine in 8-9 months, plus the rehab

  • You can comeback from torn acl and mcl which ever one. It was but it's a long recovery

  • @lesher27 LOLLLLL that's the best one I've heard in a while.

  • Adrian Peterson was a good running back, but then he took a helmet to the knee.

  • @lesher27 that was KOOL like 2 months ago loser

  • @lesher27 that was fucking hilarious hahahahahhaha

  • God the redskins shouldnt even be a team they just ruin it for everyone lol

  • @ironmaidenjp1

the vikings werent going to do anything this year anyways

  • Looks like adrian peterson took an arrow to the knee

  • i saw that movie...sweep the leg...next year a.p. will be back for blood...skol vikings voo vooo voommmmmm....

  • silly people you cant call that a helmet to helmet hit, ponder lunged at him, how else is fletcher supposed to tackle him, its not like he can tackle him lower...

  • Seriously. Stevie Wonder is driving the cart. Move that crap off the screen.

  • Dirty hit! Period!!!!

  • Stevie Wonder is driving the cart!!!

  • Stevie Wonder is driving the cart!!

  • @edder2323 lmao

  • @edder2323 LMAO!! him and Ray Charles are the olny blind people that can see!!

  • This is one reason why i HATE the Redskins. They play dirty

  • @kingmatt334 how the fuck is that dirty, he hit his knee, u act like that was helmet to helmet or something, tf

  • @lol142482 watch the entire video. They take out Ponder with a helmet to helmet hit as well

  • @kingmatt334 How They Play Dirty ? I Mean Look At The Steelers The Play Dirty Not The Redskins , If They Play Dirty They Will 16-0 . Tf ?

  • @MusicEntertainment95 Did you not see the helmet to helmet hit on Ponder? and also im an Eagles fan. i hate the redskins

  • @kingmatt334 Yea I Did . Every One Does A Helmet To Helmet . If The Eagles Do A Helmet To Helmet You Wouldnt Call It . Nd I Get You Im A Fan NFC East Fan ,(Redskins) I Like The Eagles And The Giants But I Hate The Cowboys !.

  • who the fuck is ap? its ad! all day baby!

  • @anincureableromantic

That's correct, anin. Some think AD means All Done. I certainly hope not.

  • @CoreySinner93 I think he's joking.....I hope he is.

  • Not a Vikes fan but hope he makes it. Looks bad seen worse.

  • No it won't. check out the video from my channel. 5-months post acl op and im playing 95%

  • @MichaelSaccoSoccer

If you are correct I will subcribe to your channel and give your videos thousands of hits ! ! !

  • Not a Vikings fan but best of luck AP. Hope you get back to your old self!

  • How do u do this on a fucking bike?

  • I had this very similar injury on the same leg in a bicycle accident over a year anf a half ago. The knee went back and inward. As sick a feeling as one can experience.

Not as young or as strong as Peterson ofcourse, but he'll have a long way to recover.

  • if Harvin didnt push him into AP, fuck

  • @Gratefu1Dead420

That's definitely NOT in the replays.

  • Where was the coaching the Vikes are 2-12 playing a meaningless game and you leave this guy in.Quit letting the beer drinking, chicken wing eating drunks coach your team.AP should have been traded at the start of the year to get help on the line.I guess thats too late now.

  • This barbaric sport needs to be banned, tennis or cricket should be the most watch sport but we live in a society where the people thrive on violence SHAME ON YOU!!

  • @Chitownrunthis ur a faggot...go play ur little tennis and cricket u pussy =P

  • Omg is the dude carting AP off really stevie wonder??? Lmao that looks just like him.. Anyways go Skins and I hope AP has a speedy recovery..hes a monster on the field and a good guy off the field

  • Dejon Gomes, Nebraska, Adrian Peterson, Oklahoma, the rivalry still burns in the NFL. Good hit Gomes!

  • @MUpitcher16

    Rivalry or jealousy?

  • @twinkie57401

    pry both

  • Man i feel bad for AD. I don't know what it is about his running style that just makes him prone to leg injuries. I hope he can bounce back and have a good career. And this is coming from a Lions fan lol

  • ..GO PACK GO!!!!!!!

  • Knee reconstruction is far to advanced for him not to make a full recovery. Especially with stem cell therapy over seas im very sure he will back to normal by week 2 next season.

  • dudes 26 and one of the most fit players in the NFL and we're questioning whether his career is over or not?

a wee bit delusional aren't we?

  • @MA1NSTR3AMGAMING - I don't think his career is over, but will he ever be the same again? Let's hope so, but if it's a bad tear it will affect his abilities after he returns.

  • @MA1NSTR3AMGAMING Delusional? Why would anyone want to be disillusion in regards to a player's career being altered in such a way? It's only logical to question a players ability after having torn their ACL and MCL, especially for a runnerback. I wish AP the best though.

  • @MA1NSTR3AMGAMING

Defenders target the knee after this happens.

  • Willis McGahee Frank Gore and Jamal Lewis have all tore their ACLs to come back the next season and preform well. It's not a career ender for everyone but it is something that can set back players.

  • Stevie Wonder at least did a better job of cart driving than that dumbass in Dallas last week XD

  • the commentator blew a load when he saw that hit.

  • Vikes lose AP and Andrew luck in one fell swoop. This cursed team can't even win without tragedy.

  • I have had knee tendonosis for two years and I can bet you that Adrian Petersons injury is not as bad as mine. He's lucky that his injury is an acute injury versus chronic like mine. He'll recover and be back by the start of next season I can guarantee it. This does suck though.

  • Is is really that easy to tear your acl?

  • Love from Lambeau, AP's one of the few rival running backs I actually like to watch play. Green Bay's defensive line will miss you kicking their ass. ;) No but seriously, he took an arrow to...nvm.

  • He'll be back, anyone who tears the acl and mcl and keeps a straight fucking face like that is to badass to let them keep them down, and i don't even like the vikings

  • 0:15 I didn't know they gave a license to Stevie Wonder to drive the cart.

  • same injury really set wes welker back. oh wait.

  • @StopmeatGoveg

love wes welker - but he doesn't get the pressure every week peterson gets, so not quite the same situation

  • @twinkie57401 by pressure you mean 2-3 guys hitting before he even gets back to the line of scrimmage? lol no the vikes o-line is pretty good lol. we need to get rid of ponder, make webb the starter, and draft an o-line and secondary.

  • @StopmeatGoveg

I've never seen eight in the box to stop Welker. But you're right, Ponder is a bust.

  • @twinkie57401 no i agree w/you in that peterson takes way more abuse than welker ever would, but he relies just as much as peterson does on agility - which is hard on the knees, and he managed to (in my opinion) fully recover to where he was just as agile before the acl tear. doesn't even have moss anymore for a decoy.

i don't have much faith in the vikes cuz they're run by idiots, but i have faith that peterson will go through a hellish surgery and rehab to get back to 100%.

  • Comment removed

  • HAIL TO THE REDSKINS!

  • Unfortunately, he will never be the same running back again. This is horrible news.

  • He's got 7 years left on his contract, he'll be back.

  • @stavrosteve

$35 million of it is guaranteed, whether he ever plays again or not.

  • Oh he'll come back. No doubt.

  • lots of guys are saying that he will not come back

  • @TheLegonetwork He'll be back

  • I used to be a great running back, but then I took an arrow to the knee.

  • Lmao @ Stevie Wonder driving the cart.. Could have been another incident like the one at Cowboy Stadium!!

  • Kinda sad to see. One of my fav running backs and I wont be able to see him work for a while if ever. That injury is serious its the same injury tom brady had and it really took brady two years and two surgeries one involving cadaver tissue to recover. If peterson comes back I dont see how he will ever be the same. The leagues so infatuated with protecting these quarterbacks but what about the running backs who have a average shelf life of only 5 years.

  • its obviously Harvin's fault AP is hurt,. He blocked him in the back pushing him down and into the knee of Adrian....

  • @LightSkinnedMexican

the video proves otherwise . It was obviously an unknown defensive back diving at the knees of the superstar running back to take him OUT. they all do it.

  • @LightSkinnedMexican

    No replays show that.

  • It's a Christmas miracle Stevie Wonder can SEE AND DRIVE!!

  • @13maxedout LOL Stevie Wonder.

  • @slim...your a fucking idiot. That dude gets his knees hit every week. What your saying is the dumbest shit I've read on here. Your saying go after someone's knees? Where do u live bc someone should go after your stupid ass mouth. Get fuck off of here bc you make no sense.

  • the only good thing is kenny britt form tennessee tor his acl and mcl at the begining of the season and hes going to make a full recovery i think ap can to, but as a bears fan i dont want to play him twice a year but i still hope he can come back hes a complete badass

  • omy

  • Is that Stevie Robinson driving AP off the field?

  • @LKdot007

Some think it's Stevie "Wonder", real name Steveland Hardaway Judkins. Steve Robinson is an astronaut or Pro Wrestler.

  • He used to be a Running Back for the Vikings, but then he took Gomes in the knee

  • Damn! WTF is up with RB's tearing their ACL's this fucking season?!!? Jamaal Charles, Matt Forte, and now AP!?!!? Starting to make me speculate....

  • @MrDerezzzed Its because of the lockout and no OTA's. Didn't get the workouts that would help them be ready by the beginning of the season

  • @MrDerezzzed

NFL has turned into an Offense oriented league. Defenders do whatever it takes to take out the superstars and quarterbacks. The very next play, the tackler launched helmet to helmet and ended the quarterbacks day.

  • i do not believe he will EVER be the same, and his career is very likely over.

  • damn, watching this makes my knee hurt, I tore my ACL, Meniscus, and cartilage in my left knee in April playing basketball. January 1st i can start trying to rehab more and play some sports... I wish i had a replay to see what happened to mine, shit hurts tho AP is great and a professional athlete but coming back from something like this is incredibly difficult and your knee is never 100% again, could see this being the beginning of the end for him. GO BILLS, WE'LL GET EM NEXT YEAR! or soonish

  • well his career is over lol

  • AN MCL AND ACL TEAR IS A LOT . IF IT WAS ONE THEN YOU COULD BE MORE OPTIMISTIC

  • This is just terrible, THIS MIGHT JUST END HIS CAREER HERE. SMH

  • HOPE AP MADE IT TO THE LOCKER ROOM OK WIT STEVIE WONDER DRIVIN HIM

  • @treezy7067 lmaoo!

  • GET WELL AP IM PRAYIN FOR U BRUTHA MAN U WILL STILL B A BEAST BECAUSE YOUR WORK ETHIC IS IMPECCABLE.HE WILL STILL B A BEAST NEXT YEAR I DONT GIVE UP HOPE ON YOU AP

  • Mcgahee, LT, Ronnie Brown, and a couple others have come back from serious knee injuries. AP is definately a better athlete than all of them. He might not be the best in the NFL when he comes back, but he'll be like a ray rice or a frank gore

  • @BeastlikeRexxar I can see Gore but Rice is a beast, top 3 RB.

  • @BeastlikeRexxar

They will all target the knee, though. Turn on the TV or open a magazine and you see Adrian Peterson. Rice and Gore don't get that kind of attention on or OFF the field.

  • fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuckkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk

  • He may be young enough to continue playing at a high level. Willis McGahee took that horrendous shot in college and stills plays at a rather high level.

  • He has till next august to heal his torn acl and mcl i dont know how long it takes to heal but i hope he will be ready in august

  • @ddog11597

trust me. it will be nearly impossible for him to be ready by september even. very lucky if he gets back midway through the season.

  • @ddog11597

    Reports are twelve months.

  • falcons fan here hope ap gets healthy again. as a fan of the game as well as a team its a shame when anyone goes down with a long term injury...

  • Damn. As a Viking fan I wanted to lose the rest of the season just to get a better/ higher lottery pick. We have huge problems so to play Adrian was silly in the first place for get playing with pride and that other nonsense because its only one champion at the end of the year and we are far from contending. I also said trade Jared Allen, Pat/ Kevin Williams and Ap for younger players so we can have a better overall team, but now I doubt we will get anything for AP. Thank god he got the 103 mill

  • hey i wonder how i could get better at madden..

  • man im a eagles fan but and i really wish ap the best of luck. he was by far one of my fav rb to watch a class act and a one hell of a player. get well soon ap!

  • Players need to stop throeing their heads at other players faces helmets are not supposed to be used and weapons in football.

  • Tacklers are taught to dive at or wrap the legs of beastly runners like AP. Gomes definitely intentionally went for the knee-thigh area but highly doubt he's proud to have injured AP potentially so severely. Was a nice tackle with an unfortunate outcome.

  • Comparisons to the McGahee injury at Miami are somewhat encouraging. mcGahee put in some good years in Baltimore after recovering and he was never as skilled as AP to begin with so hopefully we see AP dominate again soon. He's one of the best backs of past 10 or 20 years. Top 5 of the 2000s if you ask me.

  • Looked like DeJon Gomes intentionally dived at Peterson's knee and London Fletcher purposely lunged helmet to helmet on Ponder. Thanks a lot, mofo's.

  • @twinkie57401 Hey shut the fuck up asshole. With a powerful back like AP you have to aim low. Otherwise he will run you over and score. Gomes had to aim low. I doubt he intentionally dove at AP's knee he was just trying to bring the best back in the league down. And London Fletcher is one of the cleanest defensive players in the league. Don't accuse him of being dirty. Maybe if your retarded QB went down instead of tryin to scramble around all the time he wouldn't get hurt. Prayin for AP tho:(

  • @slimnerek

Redskins panicked because they were getting beat by the worst team in the league. They knocked the superstar running back out and the starting quarterback out on back to back plays. Didn't say it was any dirtier than any other NFL team, because they all do it.

  • @twinkie57401 Panicked? We had AP and Ponder contained well at this point. It was tied at this point. In fact when you guys brought joe webb in he did better since you guys ran the option which the skins didnt plan for at all and it gouged us badly

  • AP IS THE PICK OF THE LITTER he'll be back better than ever

  • It looks like the Willis McGahee injury. Hopefully he makes a quick recovery.

  • i guess that is one way to stop that fool

  • Am I the only one who noticed Stevie wonder driving around?

  • Wow. It's sad to see Adrian get hurt like this. He's a great player and I wish him the best in the future. Hopefully, it's just the ACL considering how it looked as he got hit.

  • I wonder how many years it took tom brady to come back around. Willis mcgahee too?? To say his career is over is a bit much buddy!

  • The best players in the NFL come from all rounds. usually the top picks never live up to their expectations. Did everyone forget Brady came from the 6th round? The vikimgs will get a high draft pick so stop complaining and enjoy watching football.

  • :(

  • Wow! We can't win for losing and we can't win for winning! You all wanted them to lose only to look like bigger losers just so we could move up in the draft pick? That's ridiculous! They can't even get a good win without you all complaining! I'm happy the Vikings aren't looking like losers! Way to go Vikes! I for one, am happy for any and every win NO MATTER WHAT and that's how a true fan should feel.

  • I dont know how he only sprained his knee

  • @MrPantySnort he tore his acl. it's a serious injury.

  • @ryanndaniellelogan When I wrote that they had said it was only a sprain. They still don't know if its torn because they haven't done an MRI yet but it most likely is

  • @MrPantySnort

Major injury - complete reconstruction needed. Twelve months of rehab.

  • I'm SO SICK of the Vikings they had to win.....WHY ?! They can't do NOTHING right now they'll win next week to and drop even FURTHER in the draft....they're a joke .....and was I the only one who said trade Kevin Williams, Adrian Peterson and Jared Allen ?! Start over with this team and with the draft picks you couldve got with those trades draft young players.....DUH !!!!!

  • @690169 you're a dumbass buddy. trade our three best players? have you ever heard of a team doing that in the history of sports? you clearly don't know anything about football and are not a true vikings fan. don't ever post an ignorant and stupid comment like that ever again

  • @PercyHarvin0528

Take a look at the Patriots and see why they're ALWAYS good...they're good at the draft and they trade players that are on the top of their careers that are not going to get better....Kevin Williams is overrated, Adrain Peterson is to expensive and Jared Allen is a stud that's older the Vikings can get ALOT for him

  • @690169 trading Williams seems like a good idea at first, but when you look at it if you trade them for draft picks your making bigger holes in the team losing Williams and Allen leaves large holes in the D-line, and their is never a sure thing in the draft.
