  • Thanks Ms. Valen you are a very nice teacher

  • What about "stars"?

  • Thank you.

  • THANK YOU VERY MUCH...¡¡¡¡¡¡¡

  • This is where Spanish speakers get confused...The word for many, much, a lot are the same word in Spanish. All you have to do is change the ending to match in number and gender. i.e...

"A lot of" or "many" apples .... Muchas manzanas

    Many people....Muchas personas

"Much" or "a lot of" sugar .... mucho azúcar

A lot of homework..... Mucha tarea

    Many cats .......Muchos gatos

  • Thank you very much Valentina

  • I like this alot...

I call videos on YouTube alots

  • you ARE good!. I'm also an ELT teacher :) and I love new media. Or shall I say 'A lot of new media?'

  • do really English speakers notice the difference when pronouncing a regular verb in the past tense? by just adding a small sound like d or t ?

  • @southofbsas yes we do. it's very obvious when you pronounce a word in the past tense.

  • thank you so many..... i mean so much . :)

  • Pon subtitulos !!

    No entiendo nada

  • thank you soooooooo much

  • @junecris36 ! OMG, she is respectable teacher, and your comment is so rude, in karma law, you'll be stupid soon. I'm sorry to inform that. Hope you're sorry about your fault soon! Don't let yourself be stupid.

  • many thanks

  • I always use this help with much and many;

there are many bottles of wine,

there is much wine in the bottles.

  • @ShowYourWorking we spent time in our English class this year to learn the meanings of initials etc. and to say them fully. I think more English-teachers should.

  • money is countable noun and still we can use much ex how much money do i have

  • @gobayna Money isn't a countable noun. Dollar bills are. You can't say "I have 5 money in the bank. Nobody says moneys. It's singular, just like homework in the example she gave at the beginning.

  • Thank you very much, I work as an English teacher in Spain and I would like to use your videos in my class.

  • @Ferccamino Do it!

  • Muchas gracias por el video. Me ayudo mucho =)

  • in my opinion if you want to teach english you need to speak slowly, because peope that are looking for this video want to learn english as well as you want to teach it.

so... speak slowly please because i want to understant your speech and not to understand what ar you speaking obout just from what i see on th board.

thank you for your lessons, they are realy good except your talking speed.

    thank you.

  • I love your teaching. I am an English teacher. May I use some of your videos in my teaching?Just wanna add some spices in my class.

  • Thanks Valen and I can't get over how much I enjoy it

  • Just because this is a grammar lesson (wouldn't nitpick this otherwise ;-) ):

Isn't "GPS system" redundant? (maybe it's used this way in english; I'm not a native speaker). It's like using your PIN "number" at an ATM "machine" equipped with a LCD "display". ;-)

  • thanks !!!!

  • cool..........

  • You should consider explaining what an "abstract idea" is so that ESL students can follow what you're saying before you explain quantifiers.

  • Great video! Being an ESL teacher myself, I have a question. How would you explain when to use much, many or a lot of in terms of positive and negative constructions and in questions. We use much in negative sentence constructions but not in positive sentence constructions. We use much is questions but not in yes/no questions? Is that correct?

  • you are the best teacher, i've learned alot from you.Thank you 4 sharing.

that could helped alot of childrens in the world.

  • Thanks a lot for letting us know about these details.

  • thanks a lot !!!! You are a great teacher.

  • I respect all the teachers all are highly appriciated

  • Hi Valen, thank you I'm learning English through you and through this website. I just want you to check the example above...GPS stands for Global Positioning System, so GPS system is redandant.
