@junecris36 ! OMG, she is respectable teacher, and your comment is so rude, in karma law, you'll be stupid soon. I'm sorry to inform that. Hope you're sorry about your fault soon! Don't let yourself be stupid.
@ShowYourWorking we spent time in our English class this year to learn the meanings of initials etc. and to say them fully. I think more English-teachers should.
@gobayna Money isn't a countable noun. Dollar bills are. You can't say "I have 5 money in the bank. Nobody says moneys. It's singular, just like homework in the example she gave at the beginning.
in my opinion if you want to teach english you need to speak slowly, because peope that are looking for this video want to learn english as well as you want to teach it.
so... speak slowly please because i want to understant your speech and not to understand what ar you speaking obout just from what i see on th board.
thank you for your lessons, they are realy good except your talking speed.
Just because this is a grammar lesson (wouldn't nitpick this otherwise ;-) ):
Isn't "GPS system" redundant? (maybe it's used this way in english; I'm not a native speaker). It's like using your PIN "number" at an ATM "machine" equipped with a LCD "display". ;-)
Great video! Being an ESL teacher myself, I have a question. How would you explain when to use much, many or a lot of in terms of positive and negative constructions and in questions. We use much in negative sentence constructions but not in positive sentence constructions. We use much is questions but not in yes/no questions? Is that correct?
Hi Valen, thank you I'm learning English through you and through this website. I just want you to check the example above...GPS stands for Global Positioning System, so GPS system is redandant.

do really English speakers notice the difference when pronouncing a regular verb in the past tense? by just adding a small sound like d or t ?
southofbsas 1 year ago
@southofbsas yes we do. it's very obvious when you pronounce a word in the past tense.

You should consider explaining what an "abstract idea" is so that ESL students can follow what you're saying before you explain quantifiers.
