Anno 1404 is a real masterpiece!The best anno in my opinion,it's fun and really realistic but this expansion Venice is a disappointment IMO :/

I though you will be able to build a city like Venice but you just gain some extra buildings,ships and scenarios to build..nothing special

when i brought this game it came with both 1404 and Venice, i dont see what people are complaining about, its a fun and quite time filling game. just hope 2070 is as good

I think I'll play the previous edition of ANNO 1404 till the next one is released .

Don´t let them trick you. You are not able to build your own venecian city! I payed 30€ for this crap and all you get are some scenarios (5-10) small buldings like statues plants and 2 ships. Ubisoft total fail! Thumbs up if you agree this is SCAM!

The structure you see them building is unlocked after having a large amount of partricians. I am still working on Venice and haven't gotten to noblemen but you need to keep playing to unlock more of the Venetian architecture.

Ok after playing Venice for a while Ive found out like the other you can't build your own venice island Venice is an addon for the computer controled player so you now have another Computer player to sell too. They added 3 new buildins that are usefull the others are for decoration only and they added 2 new ships not worth £20

As others have said, the vast majority of your £20 goes towards the net code. Playing Anno with friends instead of AI is a vast improvement.

The other things the expansion adds are pretty trivial, if you don't want to use the online feature then don't bother with Venice.

So far nearly all the new buildings are for show only which is pointless as they take up valable space. The Volcano so far has not produced any lava rivers when it erupts but it is cool to watch it spit volcano bombs over the island. The new music is really good.
