  • A great tribute to British engineering!

  • @davidsan01 i agree, but what about french engineering???

  • @joanetdesanet T'was a joint effort, I long for the day when 'the world is ready' for the Concorde.

  • gaval commendant

  • pity they didnt try to land it through the window and into the queens forehead........

  • Thats cool

  • wow that was sweet

  • The Concorde will fly again once it becomes profitable to travel supersonic

  • @Zakariah1971 I doubt THE Concorde will fly again for anything other than special events.

"Concorde 2.0" maybe, but that is a long way out

  • Hopefully we'll see this again in June this year... but with Vulcan!

  • Silver jubilee this year and we can't use Concord again :-(

Or can we.....? (Special permission) :-)

  • its a shame it had to come out of the skies in 2003

  • it's not the patrouille de france, that look like their flag , blue , white , red ?

  • first, HOW BIG IS THAT CONCORDE?!?!?! the smaller planes look tiny compared to this masterpiece. and secondly did you put sound effects?

  • @ramboormark LOL, the damn thing won't be able to fly AT ALL, since it was DEEMED TOO EXPENSIVE!!!!!! God how I hate those fucking politicians and how they fuck up the economy time and time again. This is why we can't have nice things like this.

  • @TheEWPROJECT323 Actually, Bin Laden was killed last year in April after the Royal Wedding. April 2011 was just an April of good times and celebrating.

  • Nice!

  • A legendary plane. R.I.P. Concorde 1976-2002 (I think it was 2002 but it might have been 2003 my memory is shit).

  • @MrSupercar55 lol

  • @MrSupercar55 it was 24th October 2003, my 9th birthday, and I loved that plane!

  • Damn......I wish that 1960's u.s. SST had been built!

  • bring the Concorde back now! Fuck 9/11! Fuck Bin Laden! Fuck Obama!

  • Crazypat523 do you have anything that goes warp speed that may be more use full than an unmanned jet

  • @crazypat523 lol he's movin to mars good look tryin to breath there you dick

  • " Never to be repeated"...until you press the replay button.

  • Awesome !

    Thank´s !

  • Everyone is cheering and appluading but the pilot's can't here any onf you ;0)

  • Do a barrel roll!

  • British still empire in technology

  • @2001207lim ... you are fucking retarded they aren't they are up there but germany is the us is the leader in military but only because of germany we send all our scientists and engineers and military tech designers there and you rarely do that so shut up please i don't see you with a 13,000 mph jet yeah ever heard of the F/A-XX only we have it and only we now have a working space engine so fuck you i'm moving to mars anyway we rule the skies now anyway you can have the raptor now. so shut up ty

  • @crazypat523 What an angry little man you are, so much hatred for the world over a fucking plane, that's what happens when your dad is Josef Fritzl I guess....

  • @crazypat523 sorry fa xx? TARANIS! cough*.... MANTIS! cough*... same thing, just alot more top secret.

  • Concorde might be back for 2012 Olympics!!! Omg

  • it was the safest, yet most expensive way to travel at the time.

  • I was like 4600 th ( French ) J'ai eu le 4600 eme j'aime ;)

  • Too bad they retired the concorde, anyway good video

  • i thought the concorde was a french made aircraft.....i may be wrong.

  • @treezy333 Anglo-French

  • @treezy333 the french and brittish worked together as neither had quite the funds for it

  • idk y but I sort of choked up when I first saw this vid, The Concorde is missed greatly

  • awesome!!!

  • concorde it's french :)

  • That escort in the back is making me nervous (see XB-70).

  • I wonder if they do it again for the Diamond Jubilee

  • so girls loves concord

  • @khalilovH because its big, smooth and fast

  • We need back the Concorde!!!!!!!

  • such a great efforts ....welldone !

  • awesome

  • concorde : idle

    Red Arrows : full throtle!!

  • @p4st3rn4k Lol, I'm pretty sure the Concorde had to have its throttle at idle in order for the jet behind it to fly correctly.

  • @khamsouk11 no, the jet behind was probably below it or above as to not enter wake turbulence regardless of engine power. also the concorde wont be able to fly at idle straight and level.

  • @ramboormark I get ya.... =P

  • @p4st3rn4k The Red Arrows should use the BAC Lightning for this fly-pass, lol.

  • tolles flugbild!!

  • تعرفون لؤي؟

  • @mrwldksa

    مين سمير هههههههههههههههه

  • Not to be rude or anything, but what's the point of the planes flying over the stadium every game? Or is it just on a special occasion?

    -Greets guyfromhollandwhodoesn'thaveaclue

  • @BigCrusher96 It was the Queen's Golden Jubilee and it was flying over Buckingham Palace not a stadium.

  • @BigCrusher96 What the hell?

  • Such a beautiful bird. Amen.

I do believe the Union Jack is red, white, and blue cunt nugget.

  • dumb people cheering

  • I've got an amazing video on my channel of the Red Arrows flying including Sean Cunningham & Jon Egging who were flying in the video, RIP to these amazing guys.

  • They both should be flying over London for the Olympics 2012! blood Health and safety has stopped that :-(

  • Red Arrows reminds be of Blue Angels. both rock!

  • today aplauses tomorrow laments.

  • looks like an XB-70 VALKYRIE

  • @blowupuate13 ya i think the XB-70 was the example of what a super sonic plane may look like

  • The idiots in charge should have let Branson buy the concorde.....

  • @camer81 i really doubt he would have got far as they had no airworthiness cetificates no spare parts and an increasing cost of fuel and decline in passengers. the price he offered was a bit stupid anyway

  • Now this is ENGLAND. No one else would understand our beliefs for Concorde and Red Arrows. RIP.

  • There were two things missing at the Royal Wedding this year: 1.) Princess Diana as a rightful guest and 2.) Concorde being part of the fly past. Oh well, there's always the 2012 Olympics...

  • That's pretty Badass!

  • I actually teared up a bit seeing Concorde. I do miss the old girl... One of the last things that made Great Britain "great."

  • @WALTERBROADDUS Correction - THE last thing that made Great Britain "Great". What have we invented since then? The Banking Crisis? The Stock Market crash?

  • @TimBrewin The PC, GPS, The Internet, Stealth planes,The George Forman Grill & the best porn in the world...

  • @WALTERBROADDUS Most of those were invented before Concorde. Only really the George Foreman from your list was invented after, and is that really on the same scale as Concorde, RADAR, Television, the Telephone, Radio, the Railway, the SS Great Western, the SS Great Britain, the SS Great Eastern, Last Night of The Proms, the Poppy Appeal, Cricket etc etc etc...

  • @TimBrewin No, actually the PC did not appear till about 1978. My father worked on GPS the system in the 1980's for the DOD use It only saw commercial use about 1990. The Internet was a DARPA project for communications that started about 1969 but not see world use till about 1990. Stealth tech is about as old as Concorde. You do realize this thing first flew in 1969. Thus my selections are later..... Is a Vivid video a tech leap equal to the Great Western's steam power? Hmmm, no but more fun.

  • @WALTERBROADDUS

Too right mate...Technological advancement regressed when they took her out of service.

  • An amazingly beautiful and advanced airplane, hard to believe its from the 60's. Shame I never saw her in person.

  • Concorde and her babies

  • @peterdcarter1 Such sad news again for the Reds this week. When will it end?

  • @peterdcarter1 yeah but her babies need to geet those triangle wings but still there babies

  • Wow

  • I've seen one of therein long island fly low since the airport , broke a window though-_-

  • Yes, it can be repeated with a tu-144

  • Simply awesome!! :-D

  • Should have flown again for William and Kate's wedding this year.

  • where was this at?

  • que majestuoso el concorde

  • That big plane is like a fucking ufo.

  • They say that the Concorde will fly again in 2012 for the Olympic Games in England

  • they're dropping that dust to hypnotize u

  • TRANSFORMERS, Aerobots , yeah

  • I remember the queens golden jubilee.

I had a day off school and had a nice lie in :3

  • Didn't a squad of Lancaster's fly by at that event too?

  • wow perfect

  • :`( brings tears to my eyes!

  • whats the reason the concord isnt being used?

  • @kev8338 its to triangular

  • @kev8338 not enough money to manufacture plus none left in the world

  • @kev8338 paris crash, when a concorde set on fire on take off and crashed killing all on board

  • @matrich1983 yet they still fly 737s... which have the worst safety record of any commerical airliner...

  • @matrich1983 That was a Tupolev TU-144 that crashed, Not a Concorde.

  • @kev8338

Too expensive to make, expensive maintenance, not enough customers after accident in 2000... also since it had no competition in its class, there was no need to upgrade it in any way, so it in many ways became outdated (technical, not performance ofc)

  • @kev8338 It started after the 2000 crash of Air France 4590, Concorde lost consumer confidence (it really was not Concorde's fault, it was a plane that took off before her.) Concorde was expensive to maintain and operate, and the lack of Clientele (was expensive to ride on it too) just played more of a part.

  • @HighVoltage278 consumer confidence wasnt really a factor in its discontinuation, we were jsut talking about it in my aircraft technician class actually, the plane was terribly cost in-efficient, my teacher mentioned that for a one way trip [only there, return flight NOT included] it would cost a single passenger somethign around ten thousand dollars, not only that but having to reach 250 mph just to take off requires massive thrust to obtain the lift, the wings were supersonic not subsonic

  • @HighVoltage278 [they dont care about the passengers, until after theyre dead on the news. they DO care however like you said about the massive amounts of money it took to build and operate them with] the profit margins are pretty much in the negatives if you compare it to a reliable and sturdy 747 xD sucks though eh? if it had better landing gear it couldve sparked a whole line of supersonic commercial jets. but i guess theyd rather not risk it if they have something that works perfectly fine..

  • @TruWuFFY how many 747 have fallen out of the sky or crashed due to inferior workmanship? Answer ....49 have been totally destroyed in crashes or have simply fallen to bits so reliable and sturdy a 747 is not along with one of the wost safety records in aviation history.

  • @Flamorgan You don't compare safety records by just the number of accidents. You have to factor in total fleet hours (total fleet hours / accidents) or total passenger miles, and on that basis, the 747' safety record is way better than that of the Concorde.

The total fleet time of the Concode is around 250,000 hours. Compare that to this: 380 747's have flown more than 60,000 hours EACH.

  • @banditvibe Bear in mind it was a poorly serviced and built Boeing that caused the accident when part of it fell of on the runway and the pilot never reported the incident which resulted in the fatal crash of Concorde.

  • @Flamorgan Yes, but a 747 could run over the same piece of metal on a thousand takeoffs and it wouldn't lead to a fatal accident. A blown out on tire on a 747 isn't a life or death situation because the wheels aren't spinning fast enough to create the equivalent of anti-aircraft shrapnel. Concorde engineers realized they had a safety issue with high-velocity debris from tire blow outs before the fatal accident. They added a kevlar layer under the gas tank area to address this, but...

  • @Flamorgan I think the engineers would have eventually figured out a solution, but it was too late.

  • nice

  • a mae eos filhotinhos kkkk

  • Fucking Queen and fucking rest of the "royal" family. How much bullshit and budget goes into supporting those asstards who do absolutely NOTHING for the country except look down on the poor?

  • @Hardwyre agree

  • @Hardwyre What the fuck do you care, you're not even a Brit. And besides, if you take into account the tourism attraction factor, the Royal Family more than pays for itself. This isn't the 1800s, they're nothing more than a gimmick these days.

  • @LisaJJMerry lol hardwyre u just got told by a true brit (like me)

  • @LisaJJMerry

An extremely expensive gimmick, to the tune of 90 million pounds a year.

  • @Hardwyre well said!

  • Fera *-*

  • wow, stunning

  • VERY NICE! A flying work of art....

I never saw the Concorde in person but I did see the Red Arrows perform back when DIA was still trying to open on time..

  • that was awesome. too bad it was for some messup leaders of our world.

  • damn that thing is impressive.

  • HHUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU HUU HUU HUUHUHUU IM A STUPIDGREENGO A NICE FLIYING FLIES DAAAAAA

  • =\

  • bring.it.back.

  • I miss Concorde :(

  • wouldn't the plane behind the Concord have wake turbulence? Awesome video.

  • @krgrubbs It was under the planes wake path but it gave the illusion that it was right behind it.

  • @krgrubbs

no, cause the jet that's behind the concord is actually a huge distance apart from it - so are the other jets. it's like looking up to the moon and thinking it's close to the earth but it's actually not.

  • ok... i´d an orgasm

  • fifa la france

  • i remember seeing this when i was like in year 2 just flying past

  • Cool, Squadron flying!!!
