@webkdd40 Not true.. It just depends on your current service provider and where you live. Most people have their number ported within minutes and others most at 2 days.

We just switched to Straight Talk & couldn't be happier! I have this phone and it is perfect for me, as I use it for business. I was nervous I'd have to switch my number, which so many of my clients are familiar with, but I was able to keep my old one! The $45/mo. unlimited plan with unlimited minutes, texts, and emails helps me stay connected to clients at all times, and save money. My husband uses his phone less, so the $30/mo. plan with 1000 min. and texts and 30MB of data is great for him

Thanks for the informative presentation unknown avenger you seem to talk on video with great ease. I like to be kept up to date with the various phones coming on the market and to hear objective comments on videos like yours helps us choose our phones for the family. My kids get rewarded when they get good grades or for sporting achievements - I thought this Straight Talk phone with the $45 unlimited plan would be great reward for my son, he then can talk and text all day with no scary bills

I picked up this phone from best buy last night, the phone came with 300 minutes for 80$ and texts use 1/4th of a minute and internet uses as much time as phone calls do, is there a way I can have this phone have unlimited internet, text and talk without having to sign any contract?

@vexun11 I don't think so. It sounds to me like you have the net 10 version. The straight talk version is what he has, it is a different provider and has the unlimited option for 45 a month. I prefer the net 10 because of the amount I use it so if you don't use it much like me then stay with net 10 because you can run it on 15 dollars a month as long as you use less than 150 mins a month. If you use more than 450 mins a month then you would benifit from the straight talk unlimited for 45 dollars

That symbol is not the Straight Talk symbol, it's TracFone's logo because Straight Talk is a service from TracFone.

@brickscity77 If you buy it on line, it comes with a $30 plan included. It's supposed to be good for 30 days from the day the phone is activated.
