Well from what i know you definatly NEED the original Sims 2 for these to work

things like the Kitchen & Bath Stuff Normally are just that, more items for you sims it but some Stuff do you need to have the games it says on the back because you can only get a car after u get night life but if you go a stuff pack that had cars with it there would be no point, do you get what i mean? they do that so you know if it would work or not~! :) Hope that helped!

@DeidaraxAmayaKana You only need what they call "the base game" with that you can use any expansion or stuff pack. These days they usually only come in deluxe pack... that is base game+whatever expansion for a smaller price

I got Best of Buisness And university life for my birthday. and I recently had all expansion packs installed, with a few stuff packs, i got the 2 games because they had the stuff pack i wanted built into them. I already had K&B stuff and when i went to install Best of buisness it installed and i told it not to add K&B stuff since i already had it right? but when i go on the game. I have K&B stuff clothes, but no furniture from the stuff pack. and i cant uninstall K&B.

I've only bought one Sims 2 Expansion pack, which was the Sims 2 Seasons. I actually had a hard time deciding because I made a choice to spend my money only on one expansion pack because overtime, I know they are going to release Sims 3. I hope they make Sims 3 have everything that all the Sims 2 Expansion Packs had because I seriously do not want to waste serious money on all those expansion packs for Sims 3.

Do all the expansion packs fit together as a game. Like can you have the sims 2 seasons expansion pack and you have the sims 2 pets, would the pets like play around in the leaves in fall and the snow in winter. Do all of the expansion packs fit together

Thats why some times when you install the game, you can update your expansion packs =P

Hmm get University, Apartment Life, and Seasons, or else Free time instead of University. It really depends on your playing style, but I wouldn't recommend Bon Voyage, because once you've gone on vacation a couple times, it loses its interest (though getting jewelry is nice). Seasons is probably the best EP, it really expands your game. Open for Business is only good if you like strategic stuff, like whatever tycoon games. I don't have Apartment Life or Freetime, but they look really awesome.

I much prefer seasons...but if you have the money and the harddrive space, get both, because they're nice additions to your game...just make sure that your computer wont' run slower from all the expansion packs.
