Before a person dies in Hanoi they bring them home so people can bye and stuff. so after he/she dies they have people related to her/him to bow to him or something they get monks to chant. so after 3-2 days of chanting. they bury the body
i don't think the dead would benefit when they offered slaughtered animals. So sad!

What kind of ceremony is this? Looks very Taoist with all the papier mache items in the altar. And did I just see an offering of chicken?
