I didn't use a tab, just looked at videos and played by ear. The tabs on the net are naff, they never sound right to me. A good place to start is the bassmasta website, hope that helps :)

I'm using a Westfield P-bass...and you can get tabs from the bassmasta web page, but you'll need to tweek them by ear because most are not right.

My own version isn't far off this - though I've been playing part of the verse with some open notes. Having had a look at yours, I think it's better to ditch them - I think the way you've structured that bit is tighter.

I'm sorry, they are the strings that came on the bass so I don't know, the bass is a westfield p-bass, so I assume they are Westfield strings. When I come to replace them I will get ernie ball strings. Sorry about that.

I think it was bass masta to get the basic riff, but I did just listen to it to get the twiddly bits, beacuse some of the tabs on the net are wrong. :(

yeah sure, its tuned down to D. So play, low D string 5th fret, then the octave up, so the high D string, 7th fret (repeat).  Then A string 5th fret, G string 7th fret(repeat).
