  • The I - IV - flat V blues progression KILLS.

  • The best thing about Jeff Beck is that he doesn't stick to one style his career. Clapton as good as he was only played blues(even tears in heaven has a bluesy solo). Jeff learned to use finger tapping and went from blues to jazz to rock. That is the sign of a true musician.

  • one of the guitar gods still on earth

  • This album is amazing. Not a bad note or moment on it. Won a Grammy but should have sold a lot more.

  • This would be a most excellent stripper song!

  • @chillichomper taught hendrix?? man, they didnt meet until jimi went to england and jimi was already taught, dont get it twisted. both hendrix and beck are my favorite guitarist but get your facts straight, man

  • Simply the greatest living guitar player on the Planet !!!...Jeff Beck !

  • Saw the man at the Grande Ballroom in '68. He walked out alone with a Les Paul, plugged it into his amp and tore the joint up. Awesome then, awesome now.

  • I just had chills with this song, Beck's amazing, he can say millions of things and feelings in just one note; shredders may have more technic, but will never have his creativity and feeling, you just can't learn it, you are born with it...

  • This makes me want to hop in a Camaro and speed down a highway.

  • I love the sound of the Lug Nuts going back on..... Hydraulics on the Guit !!!

  • one of my favorite!!

  • Big Block around the Block & the "block" is Worldwide...Play with the Big dogs or get out of the way !!!

  • someone needs to put some dragster big block footage with this!

  • Presenting the grand daddy of all shredders , the man who taught hendrix but hendrix could never surpass him technically. the man who Inspired the Billy Gibbons' and Eddie Van halen before they were who they are now. I just saw this guy in dallas yesterday and he may be lookin' a little old on the outside but the hands were red hot. INSANE guitar and I'm an evh and steve vai fan but NOBODY can make 1 note say a million things like Jeff Beck. Pure gold.

  • @chillichomper hey love yur posting of

    mahavishnu stuff!!..

beck isnt a shredder he just plays with more creativity than any other guiatrist ive ever heard save maybe for steve morse....!!

  • @PRODIGYat43

I've been playing for 37 years and , my friends and I ALL , say Jeff Beck shreds (kicks ass, rocks, etc., etc.) on guitar.

Do you have some personal definition of shredding we don't know about? :o)

  • @Rampant7990 shredding is playing really fast with lots of sweeping and techniques like that jeff beck is more feeling

  • @bsufilms Says your generation :o) In the '70s it meant what it meant to us, it changes just like calling our rock n roll metal. It happens. Put it this way, I'm with Ozzy, it's just rock n roll, always was always will be. Young people can make up labels 4 it all, like "metal". Make new definitions for "shredding" all u like , it's ur right. But it doesn't change exactly, everyone's definition for words we used 30-40 years ago. We meant as in "he can tear up a guitar" i.e. "shred". ; ) Peace!

  • @Rampant7990 for me-the shredding term didnt even come into existance until skateboarders used it in the 90's. so to define shredding to me -is very fast technical playing virtuosity such as malmsteen or paul gilbert--this is well beyond the scope of "shredders" its too imaginative and creative...shredding is fast nonstop playing --but thats my opinion--this has feeling and hits the rights spots for me...

  • @PRODIGYat43 clearly never heard van halen or al di meola. look up eruption by van halen, duel of the jester and the tyrant by return to forever, and flight over rio by al di meola.

  • @grevejp44 used to play some AL, and eruption i lost interest in when i hit 20 to more sophisticated players such as beck and morse, also loved gary moore. but your correct shredding -style- evolved in the early 70`s - like with larry carleton or john mclaughlin...

  • one of my favs, jeff bozzio and hymas

  • this man is just far too underrated

  • Beck is best

The funkiest dude to every strangle a strat

  • Please tell me how to make something like this, one picture and my song combined, and then put them on youtube, please :)

  • @kavraci You can do this with a free version of CAMTASIA which is a video editing software. You just place an image and the sound file and then export to .AVI .MPEG, .WMV or any other video format. Then, ypload your videoTthere is always a chance that the sound file would be protected and Youtube would not allow the sound. ... You can help this using a sound editor and converting your original sound file to MP3 and then using it on your video editing project. Hope this helps... Cheers!

  • Amazing! Truly Amazing! One of my favorites of this record! Long time no hear, i almost forgot it! Thanks for posting!
