I put a 426 Hemi on my cart. Still need a couple mods, but it has plenty of low end now. Kept the pistol grip 4 speed intact, hard to shift and drink a beer though, guess I'll stick with weed!

on the steering colum or sometimes on one of the siderails. use a push-pull cable running to the shifter on the gearbox, which as you probly know is part of the engine. its not that hard to build one of these

i like the inventiveness people use to do this sort of thing. however, the majority are unaware that a regular 125 ICC kart would absolutely piss all over this, let alone the 250 international long circuit karts that are doing upto 170mph.

I have to agree with you bud. I raced karts for 8 years in New Zealand and an ICC 125 or a 250 shifter would nail this. especially around a race track. this kart and the majority of others with motorcycle engines are far too heavy to take corners as well as an ICC.
