This scene had the entire theatre on the edge of their seat. After the landing several people said "jesus christ...." all at the same time lol. But yeah I like the tension building scene before this. "All attacks appear highly coordinated, do not underestimate combat intelligence. We're not evacuating fast enough, be advised: we have friendlies behind enemy lines."

I like how they never refer to them as "aliens" or "visitors". Just as 'enemy element", "unknown enemy", kinda made it authentic

@a50745 You ain't kidding brother....I was feeling for the helicopter pilots..this scene is classic...Opening scene in 'Saving Private Ryan', the 'Broken Arrow' scene in 'When We Were Soldiers', and this scene are my top three...
