Nice bike brotha, you should be proud of all your hard work and effort. I like the longer swing arm and I thought about doing it to my bike. However, I hear that the longer swing arm prevents the bike from launching as fast, because the tire just spins. I'm told that since there's no weight on that back tire, you lose traction. Any truth to this?
@3544S No it doesn't prevent it from launching as fast. It isn't that bumch lighter under the wheel because the weight is all in the middle which is being supported by the back tire. No traction problems with good tires. If you are going to race or anything like that, this is the way to go. It also allows you to still corner and everything else. You may get a little spin but that is normal and better than it popping up.
It being longer makes it so that it doesn't POP up when I take off no matter how hard I hit the throttle. It is also a more comfortable ride seeing as how the wheel is not directly under the seat.
@leviz502 Nothing looks great stock, that is NOS in the back with Air horns. Nothing about that is ruined. If you stand behind me you would understand
