In 2006, I purchased a set of HotShot headers originally made for the 2005 Nisan Altima SE-R. They have the same Max engine and subframe so I contacted Hotshot and got a set at cost because I satated I would do the R&D install for the 6th Gen Max and they agreed!!! Well it was a direct bolt up and I surprised many. Hotshot went on to sell about 10 more sets and then the family own business retired!!! Good news, Brian from Cattman just made a set of Headers for the 6th Gen.

I made an appointment with customlightz then drove there. Learned a lot too of the process of light modding and met two cool dudes...

your right fujita is expensive I guess i'll go with injen. I just want what's best for my maxima. and plus these videos don't do much justice with sound, until you hear it for yourself. oh by the way nice headlights chernmax

Actually Fujita can be had for a cheaper price than Injen if you shop around. Even Check Ebay Motors...

was the fujita intake louder than the injen cause I'm stuck on which intake I want on my 6-th gen SE?

I noticed no difference in sound with the exception of the Fujita. After I installed my NWP Intake Manifold spacers I had a slight whistling sound around 2500rpm. Didn't sound bad but other Max owners report the same thing with the Fujita only after installing the IM kit. B

Both these CAI I'm split on for looks and performance but the Fujita can be had for a better price and IMO has a cleaner look...

I have stock HIDs and had the headlight inner housing painted Semi-Flat Black and had the angle eyes custom made by a superb group located near Richmond Va. called Customlightz(dot)com

Then consider the new 2007 G35x or look into the M35x which is the little brother to the Infiniti M45 lineup. Actually I've owned Firebirds, Chevy Iroc-Z 350 Camaro that are RWD with beefy V-8 and I've also owned an Acura Integra. Last, depending on what you mod, my heavy car runs in the high 13's and that's fully loaded with the sport touring package, 8-speaker Bose premium sound and DVD Navigation system with SAT radio. At least drive a new 07 before you make your mind up and good luck...

My last 3 cars were all right side driven Nissan's in Japan. I was stationed there for 12 years and just got use to driving with a FWD, awesome handling in bad weather. The Maxima is an absolutely fun car to drive, roomy, 5 passenger, sporty looking, won't break the bank...
