why? in japanese they sound like theyre balls havent dropped yet.

No, it's not. The English voices have little to no emotion, some of the voices are just plain bad (*cough*Xianghua*cough*), and certain idiomatic phrases are translated literally, making the characters sound *really* stupid (*cough*Kilik*cough*).

yeah but in american nightmare has a badass voice and so does cervantes i think kilik and xianghua sound good. idk everyone has their own opinion.

Ah, but notice what you just said. Yes, there are exceptions, but for the most part the English voices - in the SC games at least - sound really shallow.

Also, that's... what...? 4 out of I believe 20 characters in SC2? That's only 20%. That's not very high in this case.
