i have another question is there a way to have half of the circle one color and the bottom half of the circle another color split in the middle?

An easy way...no...but possible, but you would have to have a separate emitter for each particle.

@davie499 well maybe i need to give more description like a peony with 50/50 like read on top and blue on the bottom would you still have to do what you said? if you search for japense shells on youtube youll see what im saying..

There is no easy way to make a half circle. Shapes are really the only limitation for the editor.

when i make it the halo is not right over the wight shell.... it stays behind it can u help

Make sure parent speed is 1, and drag and gravity are the same as the shell. If that doesn't fix it try making the shell release several halos (maybe 10) with shorter lifetimes. This is actually what the pros do to make a flickering effect, just remember to fade the start and end of the halo colour to black.

If your shell lasts 5 seconds, the halo may have 15 particles, with a lifetime of .4 plus/minus seconds, with .5 time randomness.

Make sure that the parent speed is 1, and the drag and gravity settings are identical.
