In Naruto Gaara is pronounced "Gaada"(which is what I thought his name was for the longest time)

Hih-roh-gah-roo = Hirogaru

Yah-mi = Yami

Oh-toh-zoo-reh-roo = Otozureru

Japanese is a very syllabic and vowel stressed language. Also, it may help to sing along with Nightmare just for fun, sometimes it can help on pronunciations.

I know this says from 5 months ago, but it was an interesting question, at least to me.

@SSJ4Furanki Thanks. I think I've figured it all out now. It only took a matter of time to understand the sound. What's really odd is that the "R" is sometimes pronounced as an "L".  Usually to me, it's like the "D" sound. I don't remember posting this 11 months ago, but sooner than that.

--1-- E

Your first finger bars across all six strings at the first fret, the second finger goes to the 2nd fret on the third (G) string, your pinky on 3rd fret fourth (D) string and your ring finger on the 3rd fret of the fifth (A) string.

Since a capo is used on the second fret in this song, you need to move up everything with two frets.

An Am is an Am. The fact is that he is now playing on a transposing instrument.

Does that mean that when a Bb Clarinetist plays a Bb, that he should really play that note and say "C"? No. The fact is, that it is a Bb for that instrument. In concert, it is a C yes, but NOT on the instrument.

The Chords he says ARE correct.

As I am a Classical Guitarist, even when playing a REQUINTO guitar (tuned a fourth higher than a standard concert guitar), an A Minor is still an A minor, however it is a transposing instrument, much like a Bb Clarinet or a Bb Trumpet. I.e. it is NOT in concert pitch as a STANDARD guitar is.

Get a real idea about music before you start telling people what is and isn't correct.

Because with the guitar capoed you only play one barre chord, the F. If you were to play it open:

1. The voicing would change a little bit especially with the C (which would be a D open)

2. You would play 2 barre chords (Bm and F#7 instead of Am and E7)

If your hands are up to the challenge or you play alternate voicings, go ahead and play without the capo. I don't use it for this song.

You don't need a capo. Tune the guitar alternately if you need it in this key or transpose the chords (Am -> Bm, G -> A, F -> G, E7 -> F#7, C -> D). Enjoy!
