Most people seem to be confused by the video this is an incomplete example of the Hotel California Tab.The Website is actually one of the best learning tools to learn a song exactly how the original artist wrote them. The songs are original recordings. If you look back at the Video you will notice how the song is broken into sections...Intro, Verses, Chorus. etc. The purple squares are parts of those sections usually 4 to 8 bar per part.

Cont.. You play and repeat each part until you memorize the timing and tab. This is great way to learn more advanced solo parts. The 2 drawbacks to the site is 1) You have to pay for the tabs and 2) The tabs are selective with maybe a 200 song library, though with a library full a lot of classic songs from Eric Clapton to Jimmy Hendrix to Nirvana.

still, there are other (imo easier ways) to play that song w/o a capo... at least if you know your barré-chords
